Gosh, the days seem to go way to fast for me at the moment and I didn't realise I hadn't stuck my head in here over the weekend. Thinking of you Barb with the passing on of your Dad, even though the last 3 weeks was hard you will have amazing memories of all that time spent with him.

Whoop, whoop Twi!, so good to hear that all that chemo you have endured is doing its thing and a we will need a big party here when you are finished with it!

Kids are back to school and I am back to looking after Miss Gorgeousness 3 days a week. She is 3.5mths old now and full of smiles:o)

This was posted on my facebook page and thought I'd share -they sound soooooo yummy

The most requested recipe of all time! -- Mini German Pancakes made in muffin tins. So easy, the crater forms on it's own!

Note: Depending on the size of your muffin tin, recipe yields 12-18 muffins.

1 cup milk
6 eggs
1 cup (all-purpose) flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup butter, melted

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Blend first five ingredients in a blender. Be sure to smooth out any flour lumps.
-Blend in butter a little at a time.
-Grease muffin tins well and fill slightly less than half-full.
-Bake for 15 minutes, or until puffy and golden on top. The crater will form on its own.
-Add your favorite toppings. And a dusting of powdered sugar.

#1Daughter and Daisy came for a little while so had a nice break and while they were here hubby and #2 daughter brought home kfc yummmm it just could be Daisys fav haha then #3 daughter called in after work when we heard what sounded like an explosion, it was a car hit a parked trailer took off the panel above the front wheel then flipped on its side. Driver was fine whew, the car was a mess.
Good on you Viv for going to parliament hope they take notice. The animal testing is ridiculous they should test the drugs on the people that are silly enough to use them not on the animals who cant tell them whats happening to them :((

Hello everyone ... Trying to get back to "normal" - whatever that means.
We farewelled Dad yesterday ... It was very moving and gave some closure.

hugs Bar I read it and its lovely it reminded me of my Dad. Bar I made a quilt out of my Dads fav shirts a very simple 6" squares one,our kids sewed all the shirt buttons in the corners of each square. It is precious.

Morning ...it's nice to see the sun s still shining.
Mum s going out with some friends this morning which will give me a couple of hours by myself - first time in 3 weeks. Then I am having lunch with my best friend and we will finish all the bookings for our cruise next year. We have to find somewhere to stay in Sydney for 3 nights which is close enough to the markets and shops for us to be able to walk every where.

Yay! I got a sleep today after a night fighting with my leg last night. Been cooler than usual here today...but pleasant enough. I have done sweet fat nothing! Better pull my socks up I think. Plenty to do...just lacking in energy.
