Long weekend here this weekend - doesnt make any difference in this household tho, every day is the same to me and family are probably working. Im going to sew and sew and sew hehe

Wellington anniversary, they put all the road cones out this morning, so much traffic, all wellington people come here for the weekend - best place you see hehe

Mornin'coalrange, I don't mind sharing the navigating with franny. lol my head is so buzzing with new information re my family history thanks to my son's partner doing the family tree.
It is all your fault ladies taking me to Alaska and letting me enjoy it so much that I wanted to go to Northern Ireland and from there a whole new whole has opened up for me. Funny how things can change in one short week. Struggled for years trying to find out the history of my family and in one short visit, the world has been given to me.

Hi Bhs, 'fraid I won't be much good at helping you navigate, was over 40 yrs ago and only stayed in Northern Island for, I think, it was either 3 or 4 days. Remember Dublin and surround more as have been there a couple of times. Never mind we will have fun. Just wondering whether we will be able to go tonight as Twi has family from overseas, might have to see if Stan will take us. Will have to wait to hear from Twi.

twilight, between franny and myself I think it will be the blind leading the blind sure I went back in 1998 for 4weeks, but its been 42 years since I left the old shores. Mind you I have been having a wonderful time this past week retracing and finding photos etc.
Doing this reminds me of having to do an assignment for homework hehe. TG for computers.

hi guys , had great time, we didnt do the boat trip because there was only the 4 off us going and they said it wasnt enought people, so came back to town to one of the cafes for desert and coffee, so had a fab day,

Cindydog has just been here, she took little girl to her mum. Cindydog didnt realise we are off to Ireland tonight so shes racing home to get ready hehe.
Was good to see her, its been a while, one day we will all meet that will be so cool :)
am still sewing quilt just slowly, no rush.

Guess that was a bit of luck Twilight, that there weren't enough people I mean. I don't like small boats either but am very partial to cruise ships. We have done lots of cruises but sadly have spent all our running away money so now we have a dog to walk instead of cruises. What time are we going tonight. That good that Cindydog is coming too.

hi fran iv been on a cruise ship once when i was 13, we travelled to italy, throu suez canal (it was open then )then from italy to holland by car it was a great adventure,lived in holland for a year, went to school there ,my parents are dutch, i may have told you guys this, if i have im sorry lol hehe,

was rather plesed that i didnt go on the boat,

shell we leave at 8 oclock???

i havent been on a cruise ship :(
i used to be #1 crew for hubby when he was a commercial fisherman, we would stay out nights sometimes. hmmmm na doesnt count aye - no where near a cruise ship haha lol
