mowed the lawns, and sorted quilts for Munchkin and Indie for Christmas they are panels so wont take long. Have them on the floor ready to pin.

We went out for dinner last night with the family. It was a fund raiser for GS number three who is off on a ski trip next term. Those three boys have us in fits. Their humour is a laugh a minute...one comment in the car on the way home was really off the wall. One twin asked his Mum if she took out the extended warranty on the other twin...because he thought she got a defect!! The other one wondered whether he would have to be put back from whence he came! Oh dear...coming up 15 and full of it...

Michael Jackson...lots of sudden turns and high leg lifts combined with hand flourishes and moon walk. Got sick of it after a while and went onto more modern stuff...mosh pit style. Except when I threw myself there was nobody to catch me so I face planted...that would have been when the big one hit. Ever so sorry.

well so much for me sewing today, it was such a lovely day I decided to clean the bricks outside so that I can put concrete between them which is what I was sposed to do when I put them there. That was um only 18 years ago so maybe time I finished them aye hahaha anybody wanna help put the concrete in ...it might be fun ;)
oooh a tardis quilt Seagull, maybe just google images for ideas theres lots of tardis quilts, tis a simple design tho so you may be able to draw one to the size you want then cut the fabric from that.

Hi ffloss, my finished bag measures 25" around...10"deep...strap 21"...and for the base I used a pot lid Lol, was the best fit I could find, was 8 1/4" aprox...just made it up as I went along although I wish I had made 2 shorter handles now...next time maybe.

So after 10 year break have decided to get back into my quilting...have ten tops to finish off so will do a few of those and then start a few more. Went yesterday to find border fabrics for a top made long ago with Hoffmans charm squares. What a mission but got there in the end :)

Ten quilts to finish? Is that all? I am in the throes of quilting tops at the moment...I'm doing the second of seven...but one of them might be cut up and used for something else! As well as that I have other bits and bobs that are under way and I still start new stuff! My excuse is that I have a very short attention span and need changes to keep my interest going!!! I love having lots on and couldn't deal with finishing one thing at a time. Isn't it funny how we are all different?
Today I have quilted some blocks of a quilt that I an finishing right now. Only five more blocks to do. I am hand quilting this one with heavy thread because machine quilting just didn't suit it. I have a black and white one on the machine but I have to unpick what I have done so far because I'm not happy with it...see how I go?
What have you been up to today?
