Hi coalie, twi, jumbobon, skippie, dilli & all. Just popping in to let you know that I am still in the land of the long white cloud & keeping busy with cardmaking. Did manage a house block for a friendship quilt & today started sewing the selvedge blocks together. Been enjoying the sun &n having Nana naps when it is in the right position - like onto my sofa. Good place for the nap. Hope you are all well & keeping warm.

Brooke has come inside and is sopping wet. I think she might have fallen in a trough or something so I wrapped her up in a towel and sat her where the heat pump fires out warm air. She really doesn't like being picked up but didn't struggle too much today. Now she is sitting on the mat washing herself thoroughly! Boy we had some rain today.

Dilli I watched it and I did wonder about fabric oooh would be so easy to hoard cause there sure are some loverrly fabrics :) my stash tends to be growing although im trying not to let it LOL

Brrrrr it's chilly outside but lovely and warm here by the fire.
Have just finished another cat mat to go on the arm of the lounge suite where my cats love to sleep.

Thanks for the hugs ... They do give comfort. Dad is going on to comfort cares today so I will be with him as much as I can from now on.
On a brighter note, we as a family have been laughing because for the last two nights he has been reminiscing .... Telling stories, singing songs and reciting little Poems and ditties. His room mates heard stories I didn't know (although mum did) and were highly entertained. But dad was moved into his own room yesterday. He did it again last night but his words weren't so clear and they had trouble actually understanding what he was saying. Dad used to be an entertainer in his spare time.
