Donkey plonks had their feet trimmed today...and Brooke was the supervisor. She walked along the top of the fence ensuring that Susan did the job properly and smooching Poppy and Petal as she went. Vivre had to be tied up but Zak...the nearly one year old horse...and him did their best to try and get him undone. They failed. Then Wills, the black and white kune kune decided that the fresh, crunchy hay given to the donkeys might have been just what he felt like! He is easily persuaded to have a big tummy scratch and plopped down heavily right against my legs. What a prostitute he turned out to be! Once the trimming was done all were set free...but Vivre first had a nibble on my jersey then pinched an apple from the bucket. But after taking a lone bite he left it on the ground where he had taken it...on the wrong side of the electric fence. Man...I have never jumped a fence so quickly to retrieve the fruit and feed it safely to Petal who was in great danger of being zapped. All done and dusted in time for Susan and I to have a calming cuppa.

spent yesterday and today listing stuff on trade me . gosh that takes so long. but job well done. A little more tomorra then its back to sewing for me.
Im coming to have some of the silverside. Just hot chips here to lazy to cook anything else. Cooked a lamb and garlic thingie for me daughter and the kids but I can not eat that....... and the smell made me tummy go upsy daisy.

Haven't got near the machine for days and won't get a chance today either. Going for my usual Friday walk, which includes morning tea and lunch stops and then am having my boobs squeezed this afternoon at 3pm. By the time I get home it will be time to start cooking and then it's too dark to sew. I must do something about the lighting in the sewing room.
Happy birthday to all the birthday girls ... How nice to be 21 again.
Gave my grandson his birthday quilt yesterday. He loved it. The reaction was perfect - not bad for a 12 year boy who doesn't normally express himself. And, apparently red is his favourite colour
