pooring with rain here luckily we missed the worst while out.
Will fill the prescription tomorra was not going to get wet today thankggodness I did that as it is thunder and lightening and pooring rain here now

Evening all. Twi I hope you are having a restful afternoon. after the chemo.
Getting cooler here and it was raining when I was driving home from work.
Jelly roll quilts is winging its way to its owner, fingers X she likes what I did.
Some more stitching to be done tonight, just have to find the energy to move. See you all laterer .

I think we are going to miss the worst of the weather...so you guys in the thick of it had better hunker down and keep warm. All had a good day? I have cleaned an extremely filthy patio...and it is now quite nice! The grapes dropped their leaves and twigs everywhere. The cats have been a great help. Yeah right.

I did go round for coffee. And it were good too! And warm. And an inspiring room to be in. Now I have a big cat purring on my knee begging for a brush. When I left skippie's place she was holding old man Spot because he's deaf and wouldn't hear the car reversing, while Mouse and Maisie were waiting in the wings for mum to go and feed them...sooo cute.

Must say though that the cats had already been fed but they know that Mum is a soft touch and will give them extra's when she goes inside the house.

I rang the cops. There was a cat burglar...and I love my cats. They told me to go back to bed so I did. But I gave the cats some food first...

the storm is here, very windy and wet and 5 degrees eek, maybe thunder and lightning too cause power went off for a second and tv lost signal.

Haha - it must be doing the rounds cos I saw it late last night on my facebook page. I had to go out to the washhouse and try it immediately. I'm impressed.

Thank you coalie. I needed that! I rang the Wellington fambilly this morning and one of them has been told to stay home today. She said that she has never experienced winds like it...the trains are not going and are being replaced by buses but the police are talking about closing the main road into Wellington city. Her boss rang her and told her to stay home and keep warm...so she is! The udder one is on a one week leadership course in Sydney! Today is the last day...it is a residential course starting at 6:15 am and finishing at 10:30 pm...and she is apparently having a ball.

The snow has gone again:o( it never settled due to all the rain we have had this week. Hopefully it will come back again as I have 3 children who are keen to play in it. Ffloss I am in Bishopdale. It probably would have snowed at Rolleston. The schools are mostly open, just Mr 13s school and another special school closed as the majority of the kids are taxied. Bitterly cold here, got to go and find some nice gummy wood to put in the logburner:o) Gosh that chook of yours in an independent character Coalie!

Twi in hospital with severe abdominal pain, went by ambulance, having heaps of tests, had bloods, exrays, ultrasound and morphine so shes happy enough at the mo with good potion. waiting to have a ct scan which will mean staying in tonight, she said no need to worry shes in good hands.
