well I was cooking tea for 6 then 4 and now down to two at least it wasn't cooking already.
trying to make a quilt for hubbys birthday tis hard not letting him see it tho.
realised just how often he is in and out haha I have to quickly put things in the tardis to hide them and look innocent hahaha

I am home and going to feed the animals before cooking a roast chicken with all the trimmings for our tea. 'twas a great day...loads of laughs and fun galore as well as the kids actually learning something . We did print making and rubbings...so they all had something to take home with them. It's colder here now...and getting dark so I had better get my skates on .

My sewing machine is getting a workout today too. Its about time she has been so lazy lately and needs the exercise so badly or shell get arthrisits in her joints.
(not the smoking type either as my machine is not allowed to smoke - the last one that started smoking died on me even I said to her not to smoke it bad for ya)

The sewing room is nice and warm now (Turned the heater oon in there earlier) so back from the shops Now sewing for me.

Yeehah bar bar! How's that for poetry? Not bad for silly me! I went out with skippie today...she was easily lead astray! The warehouse had bargains galore...I bought a new stool for my shed floor. And some track pants for muttley. They look good on his buttley! ( poetic license is allowed!!). The dude got some clothes, will they fit him? Who knows? He's still away working while skippie is shirking!! Only joking when I said that...the rhyme would otherwise fall quite flat. I got some cute drawers to put stuff in, oh yes...my spending was a big sin...BUT who dares wins!

#2 daughter went to the dress rehearsal of 'phantom of the opera' the other night, she said it was fantastic. I have watched it on tv a few times and enjoyed it.

Coallie, that little quilt in the background was a Kit that I bought in the Netherlands 2yrs ago, the coloured triangles are dutch reproductions chintzes. I have just finished it and I am going to hang it on the landing upstairs.
I also said to Jumbo today that Holly has been quiet, but so have Shell and Wee. Maybe Holly got lost in spotlight and can't find her way out.
The pink quilt is not my work, is a clients quilt.
