LOL that would be me... I answer to many names altho I must admit to being a little concerned when you lot started calling me Ivy... all I could think of was poisonous ivy PMSL!!!

Have cut out and pressed in to shape 40 odd leaves so far... only 120 more to go!!! *groan* tis pretty tho. Thought I would give the body a break from FMQ since it was objecting so much... ha ha this will teach it!

me went to the shop to buy, brown sugar icing sugar, bread, milk, eggs, and bleach and came home with none of them. They had me favourite spinach on special (it s not been in the shops for weeks and weeks and I was getting withdrawals) so I bought the lot instead. heheheehehehee
and I bought a crousant for me lunch. Not bad eh.
WIll get the others next week.......... heheeeeee

Well Vi made me go to the docs lol...so not got any sewing to impress you with but came home with medicine, exemption card from more srcipts and pretty scarf for a treat, followed by lemons and magazines from daughters but she made me stay in car so she wasn't infected too haha.

Ooh nice scarf...and nice work vi! I have come inside for lunch...I have done lots of little things today...none worthy of a photo. But it went very quickly and now I am cold...and I have to go out tonight because muttley has a work function to go to. Poor me!

Nice work everyone, great to see what you all get up to. Today I finished top stitching a quilt for a client, was a mystery quilt, cream,blues with the odd soft greens, rather nice. Had lunch with an old colleague in between stitching and that was my day.

I had 2 daughters and Daisy Bee home for the morning, Daisy and I did some sewing on the tablecloth quilt, first time ive let her sew and she did well she had her hands placed right and tis looking very hopeful that I will have help with the stash pile deletion one day hahaha

Beautiful quilt coalie !!
Overcast and dull here in the top of the south !!
I actually feel like doing some sewing today, have to mend my tights they got hole in leg seam.
Have been doing a lot of crochet, blanket probably half way done now. L told me he wants one for his bed, so might be the next project !!
Better be off to mend my tights and find something to sew.

coaly that is so elegant...tell me the how you put it together please? is the lace cloth placed over cotton fabric then quilted? I have old lace cloths and would love to do that but on a smaller scale.

ah ohhh so sorry I caused soap mouth washing yukeee :(
Grizz quilt is top, batting and backing with tablecloth on top. make sure you use a colour under the tablecloth to show the lace up, I spent hours pinning this one out only to have hubby come home look at it and say shouldn't you of used a colour underneath to show the lacy parts ooops, he helped sort a colour and unpin it.
oooh Vi I just saw in the garden I have violets flowering yay will pick some.

yes Judy an ordinary machine, well my lubberly little machine that'll do whatever I want haha I used a darning foot for the center of the quilt and a walking foot for the lines.

Yes, it's bucketing down but we have a back-up plan . . . we walk up and down Hamilton's main street and also up the stairwelll and down the ramps of the Centreplace carpark on days like this.
