What it looks like now..
The green is quite bright not like the photo.
Its taken me just over 2 weeks to do that much.

Shell, blanket looks great. Love the colours.
weather ok here, rain stopped no wind and temp not too chilly, a friend just called in and finished off the roast, he said the weather in Welly is pretty nasty.
almost finished quilt just pinned the edging, not doing binding im just turning the border under. will go sew it now.

Hellooooo! I have been trying to sort my shed out all day and I'm not there yet! I have waaaaay too much stuff...I'm sure it has multiplied over time.
Shell...your crochet blanket looks fantastic. Are your hands sore yet?
Drommy popped in to see coalie on her way home...lucky drommy. I had thoughts of going back to Wellington with her but muttley and I have to go out on Friday night...so that was the end of that idea.
I'm off out to GS's birthday tea tonight. He is 12 today and very excited. He got a lovely new jacket for his birthday because he is going on a ski trip with school and had nothing warm enough. His mum found it on sale...but it won't fit him next year! She thought it was going to be too big but it is just right. I suppose when you eat eight weetbix for breakfast that is what happens...you grow!

Shell - love the colours in your rug. We had a wicked frost here today -8 in our backyard in Clyde. Character building - lol. But what a magic day - clear blue skies and sun. It looks and feels like another big frost tonight. We are snug with our wood burner on and the whole house is warm. Have a good night everyone.

Was so great to catchup with Drommy shes so lovely, comes from good stock that one, a Cinderella indeed.
oooh Floss ooh that made me shiver gosh that is cold ! yay for the lovely day it brought tho.
I put lamb shanks in the coalrange for tea and oops fell asleep, hubby came home late and they were burnt hmm all his fault I reakon aye if he hadn't been late they wouldn't of been burnt haha they were edible tho just charcoal outer which was honey mint and rosemary.

Hopefully I will get my shed finished today. It would be lovely...although the grandies came over last night and wondered where all that stuff was going to fit! I have an old suitcase filled with fabric and that is the fly in the ointment. Oh well...might be time to cull! But then there is still the problem of the empty case. Will keep you informed...
