the shoulder is behaving sort of but me thinks as soon as i go to work it will freeze up again...not sure what the outcome will be really, quite annoying to say the least...Yes coaly i can sew now, try and stop me lol am just making up 2 cot duvets for a friend at mo then need to finish the covers for my grandies rumpus cushions...just cant seem to get away from cushion covers, oh well keeping me out of mischief...what are you sewing?

Grizz so pleased you can sew yay oooh would be such a long day if nothing could be made :( can we see pics when cushions and duvets are made pleaseeeee, cushions are fun to make, I really don't need anymore cushions and kids don't need any but then again they didn't need all the quilts I made them either hahaha
the scrap quilt that a few days ago I thought would be 2 quilts is one again ! LOL it just couldn't make up its mind what it was haha but anyways still working on that.

Is it Wednesday already? Last time I looked it was Sunday .... I think. I have been so busy this week I have hardly been on line although I do have a vague memory of reading something about brooms .....
Tomorrow doesn't promise to be any quieter .... Wish I was busy in the sewing room and not at work. Roll on 2016 when I can draw me pension.
Have a grandie's 3rd birthday on Sunday and another one is 9 next week plus I think I have two sleeping over on Saturday night. They have asked for a sleepover at Gramma's. it's lovely that they still want to stay at ages 11 and almost 9. Have an almost 14 year old staying the following weekend. I need to gather up some embroidery cottons for her as she is into making friendship bracelets. Silly me sold all mine last year when I realised I was never going to do cross stitch again. Never thought about the grand kids wanting them. I had 100s too. Oh well, will start keeping an eye out at op shops and garage sales.

Goody goody morning from my nice warm bed with my darling black pussy cat keeping me company. Looks a bit glum outside today...maybe grandie is back at school and I will have a quieter day in my shed. I love having them here but don't get much done...
Good to hear from grizz and ivy and bar...hope poor bar gets some sewing time soon. I would be losted without my time stitching. I have a query though. Why does the point of the needle find the same spot in the finger underneath when you are quilting? I have a calloused area of pin pricks with a raw pink spot in the middle that gets punctured too often...

Hellooooo. I have been out in my shed all day and still cannot see a hole in my scraps. I've tried some feathers this afternoon and am now in quilting some of them. I have done a few drunkards path blocks just for fun and have been quilting those. Shame about the unpicking...but when I've had my cuppa I will return to the shed. Everyone happy?

Grizz wow they are all so lovely oooh pics made me all keen to make some cushions they are so cute but the moment has passed and im back to reality that no one needs any :( duvet cover lovely too, can see why you ran out of energy whew :) hope your shoulder is even betterer tomorrow.

How's the crochet going shell? No pictures yet coalie...talk about dribble...the feathers are being quilted on the drunkards path blocks that I made. Big ones. Only four! So not as productive as grizz.

I managed about 2 hours sewing this afternoon. Am making a crumb quilt for the cat who has started sleeping on one of Mum's lovely antique office chairs. Decided to make a small quilt to put over the seat. I was half way through the quilting, free motion, when a friend arrived. Should get it finished tomorrow.
