Any pav left for me ....I don't mind having it for breakfast. Sitting up in bed putting off that moment when my feet hit the cold floor. No carpet in my house ....lovely in summer, not so good in the cold. Going for my usual Friday walk soon so no sewing for me until mid afternoon. It's been so long since I even entered the sewing room that I hope I remember what I was doing. Oh well, can always start another project LOL

Jumbo and I had a lovely day, went to Havelock North, found a new Bakery, which it turns out has already been there for 4years, shows how much we look round the locals.

Good morning ladies...and thank you soooo much for breakfast Dilli. I'm having trouble seeing you through the pea soup this morning though. Sometimes foggy is good...she says, running for the lick of her life...but not before wishing everyone a happy day.

Morning all. A bit of a grey day here but the rain has stopped. Meeting a friend for lunch today and then going to a costume exhibition at the museum. If I get out of bed now, might have time to do some sewing first. Feel very lazy today.

barbrose - 2013-05-18 09:58:00

Barb isn't nice to just stay in bed till you feel like getting up. especially on morning like today. Mist has finally lifted here and the sun is coming out. Morning tea is available in this house for anyone already needing coffee, like me. I have managed to clear the clutter of the bench in between having coffee and breakfast. Also oiled a very small wooden drawer unit, to store sewing stuff on my desk, or buttons, rather cute.
Yesterday received a quilting book, from Edyta Sitar, she makes gorgeous Country scrappy quilts, hope to get her next book today. So Guess what I will be doing between stitching.

Coallie, these cooking program's has made me feel hungry, then realised that I haven't had anything to eat. Have been stitching. Trying to work out a quilt border and then what to use as binding, as I do not want to buy more fabric. Better go in and have something to eat.

skippie1 - 2013-05-18 20:45:00
43197

Well we have had a roast dinner tonight with all the trimmings and now I feel uncomfortable. I have been doing some more hand stitching on my brown quilt. I was going to go out to the shed but decided on the hand quilting instead. No snupper for me thanks coalie...you'd better have it all!

Hello, thought Grizz might have been in... shes on a forced "holiday"... wee shoulder glitch. Yoo hoooooo Grizz, where are ya hiding???

Jumbo how hard on your hands is hand quilting? Oh and anyone else, naturally. Am tempted to try it but not sure my arthriticky mitts will stand up to it. I have managed a little FMQ yesterday and today... emphasis on the "little" but its better than none! Bit rough in places but hey thats what learning is all about... and I'm learning to love my ugly stitches ;-)

Any one want to join Jumbo and me over on Craftsy? Nows a good time to join coz you can sign up for a free class... hope the link works...
