Good morning all. Yesterday was gorgeous sunshine tee shirt weather. Today looks a bit glum but 'they' said it will be warm. I am at home...and I will be a stitching...but need breakfast first so come and join me. Sorry there isn't any chocolate left for breakfast...but plenty of everything else. Have a great day!

need to get some baking ingredents today for baking since me sewing room is out of action......... put one of those magic obsorbent thingies on ze carpet last nite but could only find the small one. (I had two large ones that were used as bath mats once) still better than nothing.
so will move that around today.

Hellooooo....I had a nana nap! But not before I finished my last real project from the Laura Wasilowski course. Now I'm supposed to do an improvisational one but I think I might wait a while for that. Stitching tonight so will take my quilt that is being hand quilted.

Ended up with visitors so no baking done but I did go and buy most of the ingredents except me forgot the butter....... so will get some of that tomorra.
No sewing for me today
Had a knitting pattern photocopied and enlarged to A3 size so I can read it at nights. To cold to be in the sewing room at nites now so knitting in bed for me for a few months now.

Thanks you Dilli, we will enjoy our stitch n craft night. I will be taking a quilt top that needs a border, that will keep me busy.
Have top stitch a small wall hanging today, have some re else stitching to do as there is a pattern I don't like, bugger. will look great when it's finished.
I bought this as a kit when I went to the Netherlands two years ago and started to stitch over there for something to do. Pic will follow when it's finished. It's a simple pattern with half square windmills blocks.

Yum yum thanks Skippie. Was out last night till nearly 11pm and out again tonight till after 9.30 but hopefully life will settle down again soon and I can get back to normal, whatever that is. Am now sitting up in bed sipping on water and nibbling a large piece of chocolate hokey pokey. So I am half healthy. Not been near the sewing room now for a week .... Beginning to twitch ...

Guess what? Skippie flew through the door. The cats went scattering all over the floors in fright, knocking over everything in their wake as they went. Muttley fell off his computer chair backwards...rendering him dazed and confused till this time next week. The donkey plonks skittered...braying non stop...around their paddock, knocking over the pigs as they went. The pigs flew through the air, spinning as they went, until they landed on their backs. Fortunately their fall was broken because they hit the goat with such force we had to hire a digger to remove his legs from several metres under the ground. She threw a piece of fabric so violently upon my good self that my eyes swivelled rapidly inside their sockets and when I finally came to I was hanging from the ceiling light fitting...which had shorted and sent my hair into a zany frizz. Whew...what a morning!
Thank you for the fabric skippie. Once the house is back to rights I will use it on my houses quilt.

sunny here too tis nice, ground is very wet from the dew so nothing happening outside like gardening and I did the lawns the other day.
Blossom has permanently left her house she is sleeping in a tree, the neighbours cat went in her house one night so she wont go back in. she doesn't leave chinas side now except to sleep, she feels safe beside him. so wherever he goes she goes ......

I've had a great day so far. There's this guy called Peter who is horse riding from Bluff to Cape Reinga raising money for rescue helicopters and he rested himself and his horses for four days with dd and family. This morning dd drove them to an area out of town so they could carry on without getting hooked up in heavy traffic...and I was invited to go as well. After we had dropped Peter, Two Shoes and Cloud off we had lunch! What an unexpected treat.

Evening all an update.
Went back to the docs and it was a bug that I had and have still got so I hope none of you get it as its horrid and I mean horrid. Am still not feeling the best but hopefully a weekend of rest will help alot..L has been wonderful, he got up this morning and started getting things ready for breakfast I could hear him in the kitchen, he even put my tea bag in my cup, how cute is that !!
he is asking for cuddles now so better off,
will be back again soon.
