Been a busy few days for me ... Had an important meeting at 9am today and slept in .... Mum woke me at 8.30 and I got to work on time ... Hungry and un showered but on time lol.
Yesterday I made a start on quilt for grand daughter for her birthday in November. Quite happy with my dog ...

I did some real quilting today on the tablecloth quilt, bought a stencil years ago and had only used it once just playing but today yay moved up a notch so to speak and actually did it hehe :) most of the rest of it is just scribble free motion but will have to put some feather quilting on too ( yet another challenge as I haven't done those but I will try )

I only discovered scribble free motion yesterday ....looking at a tutorial by the quilter Skippie talked about (I think) .... I like the sound of scribbling and will try it next time instead of the other way when you don't cross lines .... Forgotten what that's called - having a senior moment

I saw the scribbling yesterday too Bar, I have done it for a while it was the mess I ended up with when trying to stipple and I called it scribble and found it a lot more fun than doing the proper stipple but I didn't realise till I saw the video yesterday that it actually is a quilting stitch and is called that haha LOL sooo funny hehe :)

Evening all.
Thought I better drop in and let you all know I'm still alive and kicking, just.
Have finally got an appointment for L to see a Neurologist on Friday, it cant come quick enough, I've had enough now cant take much more and neither can L..He missed his first day back today, sick once again.
Twi, nice to read that you are recovering well from your op, I do hope your getting plenty of rest and are not over doing things.
I haven't done any sewing for awhile haven't really felt like it, but have been doing my x stitch again and nearly finished a picture my mum started.
Hope your all keeping warm as its cooled down quite a bit.
Time for a cuppa.
Will be back in again soon.

Morning all. No work today as its my parents' 65th wedding anniversary and I want to spoil them. Doing the official "at home" thing on Sunday but today is the actual date and I have arranged a newspaper article and photo.

I am sure you will make it special. Please post which newspapers so we can read it as well. Or post it here.
My parents made it to 50 years but sadly both have passed away.
We are celebrating 40 years in July and are taking the children and grandies to Queenstown for a long week end to celebrate. Looking forward to that.

Gorgeous photos bar...you must feel so proud of them. Thank you for the kind offer...I will keep it in mind should I run out of a place to put it! And thanks to others for their kindness too.
