Got busy and finished this today. It's bigger than the last one and hopefully a bit more practical. Probably be used to take my book and lunchbox to work each day. When I was having that cleanup a week or two back I found the fabric - it had been a skirt of mine - which is a sort of linen. I've lined it with calico and included several pockets, including a zipped one.

Home again home again jiggetty jig. We had a lovely time at the beach but I did miss my cats and my shed! Muttley loves it there though so I must be willing to spend more time out there. The cats were thrilled to see us back home. Tabitha has had an enormous brush and loved every minute of it.

I have been thinking of twi. I'm so glad that the surgery is going to happen after all. All should go well for her now. She will have a long recovery but she has been so positive ... That must bode well for her.

Evening .... Will be singing and praying for Twi tomorrow and the rest of the week.
Well, fence is up ...they did it in one day and it was still standing this morning so they must have done something right :)
Plus I have made two batches of feijoa paste. Very happy with the result despite having to stand and stir or three hours.
Have just finished sorting fabric for grand-daughters quilt. Have a plan but its not working out on paper so might have to rethink. Don't want to cut till I am sure of what I am doing. Think I might so some searching on line.

Hey I just realised that you might think I only each my lunch and read books at work!!!!!! You do know I also work, eh??????? But I must confess I also thin a lot about wanting to be home sewing!!!!

I have been leant a biography on Leonard Cohen - it's 500 pages, so that's a lot of reading to a slow but enthusiatic reader like me.

I start reading and read book after book and then don't read again for ages. I read really slow near the end of any book, I don't like finishing them so the bigger the book the better.

Poor you skippie...it must have been a tough day to keep you at home. I took GS to town today. They will each have a turn at going out with me and F had an awesome time...as did I. We had lunch out after my haircut and he wanted to spend some of his working at the kennels money on something for his computer...haven't seen him since and his brothers said he is in his room computing. He is learning how to write programmes and is a happy chappy. Those boys are awesome company...

So pleased to be able to check in tonight and see that Twi is doing well after her op. Fantastic weather in kaikoura, we went and saw the seals and hubby went out fishing on a charter boat. Mr 13 had a go using potter's wheel - he loves squishy clay and he is loving staying metres from the sea . Shall I turn the lights out or are you still up Skippie?
