I watched them thinking I could do that but I bet it's like all the cooking competitions that when it comes to the pressure it's hard to do. The lady that won well deserved it, she was steady and focussed and did not buckle under the pressure. Also . . . . as for migraines. I used to get them, haven't for some time - touch wood!! However, just recently I have seen something called "MIGRASTICK" which is made of peppermint essential oil, I think. It's costly at $27.00 from a health shop such as Hardys but the idea is that you dab it on your forehead and go lie and and what I saw was in half and hour my friend was up and about again, good as new! yduj - 2013-04-26 15:12:00 |

Have an early start (for me) tomorrow as we are replacing a fence and the first of the workers (sons in law) arrive at 9am to demolish the current one. Means I will have to be out of bed and dressed by then. I normally stay in bed till 10 on a Saturday. Was so tired last night that I was in bed with lights out by 9pm and then I slept right through until 7am! Not even one comfort stop during the night. And the bed was dry just in case you are wondering lol
Today I walked for 4 hours with my BF and then managed to finish all the machine sewing on grandson's quilt for his birthday in July. Only the hand sewing on the binding to do now. I have also finished three Christmas quilt tops since last weekend. No wonder I was tired.
Today I also bought the last piece of fabric for grand-daughter's quilt for her 12th birthday in November. Will start that next week. It will be in purples and turquoise and have lots of appliqué work. Not sure exactly what yet.
Have a toothache tonight ... Might have lost a filling. Ouch!

#3 daughter and bf ( will call them M&M ) got keys to house yesterday afternoon and spent yesterday afternoon and evening till 9 stripping wallpaper and plastering a couple of rooms, they will paint them today. they arrived here just as I was going to bed to get their bed and a couple of things. they said it was easier to do the rooms before they shifted in. Truck coming for the rest of the things here later today. so much for 2 girls home for a week or so ah well there was one night haha. we have 4 bedrooms packed total with 2 house fulls whew ! will be able to get organised now.
Hope the rain stops Bar, I think we have showers this morning and sunny later.
