trying to get the washing out hopefully it wont rain again till next week :)
need to cut more fabric for my quilt

Maybe a bit too much for me...what about you? AND a long way to go to collect it.
Has anyone heard from shell? I'm hoping they are alright with the bad weather.
I have 10 more houses ready to frame and have also sorted clothes for the cooler weather. I feel as though today has been well spent...do you? Poor bar is still at work. I wonder what job has old ducks working such long hours? She must be a quackery at whatever it is...she says, running like hell...

How about we all buy that thread and get Dilli to collect it on her brook. Then we can all share the loot.
Shell says she is fine with all the rain down there, no problems at her place even though she is only 3 min from Richmond.

Need a truck me thnks to pick up. Not sure if its all overlocking or sewing machine My sewing machine has an add on for the larger cones.
but that is a flamin lot to pick up. Have a friend with a truck though. heheheeeeeee will see.

my machine holds the big cones, I put one of those narrow cotton reels inside it and it works fine.

My shed floor is still covered with scraps and I am looking forward to finish them so that I can clear the floor. I suspect that the scraps bin is not going to look much emptier. How does that happen?

My day has been lubberly. I have almost got all the houses done and then have to frame 29 of them before I put them together. GS earned some money by cleaning the disgraceful patio today. He cut off all the grape bunches that were left and water blasted the area. It looks just like a new one. Had coffee with skippie and pinched some bright pink fabric to frame one of the blocks with...and soon we are off to stitch and bitch...so see you all laterer.

Evening all. Am slurping on soup as I type...don't ask me what sort cause it has a bit of this and a bit of that in it. It is very yummy.
I didn't get home till 7.30 last night and by the time I had dinner and a quiet sit down, I just couldn't be bothered doing anything else so I went to bed early. Only got up once for a comfort stop and slept right through till 8.15 which was great. Only worked 4 hours today but what with taking mum shopping and doing a few other chores, only managed an hour sewing.
Jumbo I know what you mean about the scrap bin not getting emptier .... I am sure my scraps are reproducing on a daily basis.
