gosh quiet in here.
I just watched 'you deserve this house' on tv, the ladies house was lovely all very eclectic and stuff everywhere it looked amazing, they changed her house totally and put most of her treasures in storage. she put on a brave face but the house really didn't suit her. bet she dragged everything back to where it was as soon as the cameras left.

went looking for me knitting needles Found the needles but couldnt find ze wool.
So went shopping instead heheheeeeeeeeee
bought meself another piece pf fabric for a dress for meeeee.
I am coming for some roast chicken Coalie as I have not been able to cook or bake even.

Evenings all. Have been stitching today, quilt 75% done. Hope to finish it tonight when we get home from Fish n Chips night.
Tomorrow I have a workshop all day, start at 9 am, not sure what time it finishes. Better go dinner is nearly finished.

Guess what? I had a huge sleep after school today. I can't believe it...that's twice it has happened. I might have to admit to being affected by the advancing years. Only two days next week and then the holidays. A nice break but no income. Oh well...we are not going away for a year so should still reach the target.

very close Skippie, we will be the last house in the street on our side. so pleased we have trees they should block the view of most of the expressway it is very high.

Thanks for brekkie ... I love breakfast in bed.
It was my oldest daughter's birthday yesterday and as her policeman husband had to work, she and the four kids came for dinner. My other three girls and their families arrived for dessert and chaos ensued for the rest of the evening. We don't have carpet and for some reason the kids were particularly loud. There were 16 of us and between us we managed to eat half a cake, an apple/feijoa/berry crumble, HUGE self saucing chocolate pudding and lemon meringue pie. Sorry, I did try to hide some for you all but the kids found it. The reason we only ate half a cake was because the other half had already gone before it arrived here.

My day has been spent trying to tidying my sewing room Trouble is as I was pottering I kept finding UFOs. Continued to tidy but also made a list of what needs to be done to 'finish' some of the things. Will work my way through the list.

Just I know the feeling about so many projects/ideas .... I started the first of my Christmas projects today. I know it's early but I have decided to give each of my girls a Christmas theme quilt plus one daughter has also requested a quilt for her hubby and I have two birthday gift quilts to do as well. No pressure! The first birthday quilt is for July and its almost done and the next birthday one is November so that is manageable. It's the five for Christmas gifts that might be hard. I made five 12 x 12 in crumb squares using only Christmas fabrics today. Another seven to go and then I will add borders to make it the right size. I think the other Christmas quilts will be the jelly race one, disappearing nine patch and postcard. My son in laws quilt will be something quite different and yet to be determined

thanks for cuppas, ive been sewing for hours and nearly finished a raggy / lace bag, have to do the washing that's in the machine before I can wash it and the one I finished yesterday. hmm sad that the washing machine cant just be used for the important things like the iron haha
Bar you can do the quilts yeah :) I made 4 eye spy ones for the kids for Christmas one year they were all pretty much the same and I was soooo sick of the sight of them by the time id finished. at least some of yours are different.

Off early this morning to the Cambridge market back nice and early
didnt buy any fabric. only saw fat quarters and they are no good for the nappies and dolls clothes.
Jugs just boiled so filled the hotty and made me coffee so of to ze sewing room To get LOST in the pile of nappies this time coalie heheheeee
you'll have to come and find me dinna time.
