A few weeks ago chockie boy helped me shop cause I had forgotten the list, on the way around the rows he would say ...was milk on your list grandma how about bread ... popcorn would've been on the list for sure and chippies haha he laughed when he said them knowing they werent on the list, but there was a little glimmer of hope in the eyes haha

back to sewing for me...

well long time no see ,but dont worry i still know all about what you lot get up to lol.I had a wonderful 3 days in the bay with my 2 sisters a couple of weeks back--poor Muttley having to cope with the 3 of us .hope you all hav a wonderful Easter and find time to eat lots of easter eggs in between stitching.

I made sweet and sour pork with mixed veges over rice ... YUM. Even though I do say so myself, the sauce was Devine.

grandies came and had chocolate trumpets whoohoo and grandad drove them well actually they drove him cause they were on his knee steering, up and down the driveway haha what fun.
Blossom and I dug some weeds out of the lawn, we are running out of weeds but she enjoys it so much we dig anyway hehe
going to sew now, sun comes out now and then between clouds but tis nice weather, sea isn't too nice tho, a couple of boats went out but not what there would've been had it been calm, hubby didn't go out so no fresh fish for tea will have frozen.

Full on day here in Wantanui. Collected Dad from rest home at 10.30 and arrived home to find one daughter and her family already waiting to visit. I had a lamb and vege soup in the slow cooker and lots of hot cross buns and over the course of the next three hours everything was consumed. There was just enough soup left for tea and I think mum and I will manage to find some room for Easter eggs about supper time. I LOVE creme eggs.
Finished one more apron and did a show and tell to my girls who all made the right noises and told me I should sell them. So, will list one and see what interest there is. It's hard to find a price because I just used fabrics from my stash.

Well I had an unexpected day. I drove down to Palmerston North to pick up daughter to save her a four hour wait, then drove back again. Drommy came with me for company. We got home to the donkey plonks screaming for food and so fed them before having a delicious BBQ with daughter number one and fambilly...and now have done the dishes so can relax! Aaaaaah.
