so...Hollys gorgeous hats and booties are mentioned in the thread this morning and a few minutes later the post comes and aww Indie has a set aww. Holly they were put to use within minutes of her having them Thankyou. Indie is 1 week old today, whew that flew !

I have just come back from a few days in Auckland with the family, I do miss them and lovely to spend time with the grandaughters. The elder one Zoe finally got her dream come true, a horse, it is all she has ever dreamed of since she could barely walk and now she has one. Needless to say lots of time spent at the pony club and younger one got a dog which she wanted and thankfully both dog (hers and mine) are bessie mates.. Run one another ragged except that the puppy has so much more energy than my old girl, think she is relieved to come home for a rest.
Nothing else to report, will sit back now and catch up and on the thread.

I see some of you are wanting some cool air... hang on a minute Grizz, don't blow yours until mine gets to you... might as well get rid of it all in one go eh? Another grey old day here, plus some useless but annoying drizzle... oh for some sun and warmth again!

Thought you gals might like to see what I made in an effort to organise myself a little... a quilting caddy. Cost me $5 for the bucket that is hidden underneath and less than $2 for the screen netting... already had the fabric... as one does ;-)

hi everyone :)
i had 3 ladies from work call round yesterday, they bought morning tea and lunch and we just talked and gossiped till 2.30 was so nice, had to have a nana nap after they left with all the talking we did :)
what a gorgeous hat you made baby holly did you get my email ???

made some muffins and chocolate chip biscuits in my new mixer today
still havent made the pav mmmm well the eggs fell of the fridge toaday and i lost the lot not sure how that happened

Twi that was an eggy mess dropping them from the fridge, yuk having to clean that lot. Nice though for your work mates to come and see you.

We are back from stitch and bitch and there were only the two of us tonight. The others all had holiday plans...and there were also a couple of weddings last weekend.
Yep twi...there as always tomorrow. Skippie and I might just pay a visit sometime...so here's fair warning! But not if you are feeling poorly though...
I've had a busy day today. Got lots of things done including stitching.
Love the bucket but sheesh that floor is clean and tidy! Please don't come to my home at the moment...the health department might shut me down!

Been AWOL from the thread today ...or should I say yesterday. Took another day off work and spent the day sewing crumbs and burping. Didn't know I had so much hot air inside me. Anyway I feel really good now and should be sleeping since I have to go to work tomorrow. Will have heaps to catch up.

Thanks for the lovely comments... my wee tart of a dog is Sassy... and she lives up to her name, sassy by name, sassy by nature LOL! Floors only clean coz I had to put the quilting table away so I could give Sas a groom... and Ma vacuumed for me LOL... so no doesn't stay clean for long! Also anything on the floor is fair game for a certain little somebody!!! Skippie, size aint a problem... just use a bigger bucket... mine is bigger than the pattern... only coz I couldn't get the right size ;-) (yeah right hehe)

So true coalie. I was brought up strictly in the Anglican Church and some of the congregation only went to be seen to be doing the 'right ' thing!
I have had a great afternoon with youngest GS. I have read a book to him for over an hour and he would have had more but my voice needed oiling! He is not into reading very much so I am trying to encourage him by sharing some books. Fingers crossed...
