been to coundown to get some zeros and thats been me lot.
Trying to think of somethin for dinna........ but brain not engaging at all.

Oh no bar! Overdone it eh? I have had an awesome day. Skippie and I went to a quilt in with the Hawkes Bay patchworkers for most of the day. There were some wonderful quilts to see and lots of socialising. Since we came home I have washed the car!! Man that's a rarity...but it goes for a warrant first thing tomorrow morning and I don't want the poor thing to feel embarrassed. Haven't cleaned the house but! It still looks as bad as when you got your breakfast. Oh well.
Get betterer fast okay bar?

Evening all ... Been asleep since 7.30 but hadn't shut my door properly and little Molly came in to purr in my ear. Anyway the good news is that I feel a bit better. Not going to risk food yet but have a lovely hot berry drink beside me. Holly, my Dad always used to say that too if we asked him a question he didn't want to answer....it was a wigwam for a gooses bridle or he was going to see a man about a dog.

Thank you coalie...I really need that breakfast today. Yep! The first thing I look for after my shower? My slippers. It is chilly in the mornings for sure. I think we are really lucky to have four distinct seasons but it is sad to see summer go...especially as we got a really good one this year.

had a great day out yesterday long walk on the beach fish and chips on the beach and ice cream hows that for a day out was so full couldnt eat tea :)

Morning all .... Just woken up. Feel much better but not going to work today. Haven't eaten since lunch time yesterday but not feeling hungry yet. Might get some sewing done today provided I continue to improve.

Thanks for putting jug on coalie but ive just had a coke zero its a bit too hot for a hot drink today. Ive been cutting out some more pjs for L its nice bright green with stars on it, he loves it..

coalie I had corned beef in mashed potatoe with spinach ,apple and cheese all mashed together enoff for about 4 nites. so will freeze some.
was yummy.............. Just have to heat the next 4 lots up easy eh,,,,,,,

Holly...the neighbours complained after the last rain dance but I will try again. I thought that my extra sags would cover all the shouldn't be seen bits. They must have looked a long time to have caught a glimpse. I suppose it's not every day that they are confronted though...and that was just the donkey plonks!

morning...just finished me chores so sitting here with a cuppa and choc covered krispies hehe yum...have a haircut booked later cant wait oh and need a new washing machine so best find one on my way...repair man said will cost more than half the cost of a new one to sort out, so since its done a few years hard work we thout best to not waste money on it.

Dilli your so flamin hot and woud you believe we lit the fire last night...yes we did, has been cold and overcast quite chilly.
Thanks for supper last night Coaly was so delicious...as for fc heart well i just liked it so gave it a go hadnt really thout of more blocks but maybe thats something i could work on between projects and see what it turns into...and oh i wish my machine could do fancy embroidery sadly my hands will do it lol dont have a posh machine like you sigh! my sis works in a sewing shop in town she was showing me the latest janome machine...boy oh boy can do everything except make a cuppa tea and only cost the same as a small car $12000...i nearly fainted!
Hi Barb its easy as to do, i found the pattern in a copy of patchwork and stitching.
Ofcourse i had to look at your dolls clothes too Holly lol and they are beatiful you clever clogs...as for my shoulder well i can do a lot more its healing well but cant lift it over my head or up my back to undo bra yet so hope that happens soon with the exercises as ment to see spec in little over 2 weeks about returning to work...quite like being a lady of leisure now lol but the moneys handy tho lol.

sorry about the novel girls...will help to fill up another page.

Grizz gosh I laughed out loud when I read that you don't have a posh machine like me sigh, oh Grizz no you don't I have the most loved machine eva haha I bought this one when I was 18 for $40. I have bought a couple of the same since off here but my loved one gets used, ok are ya ready here comes pic .......

Ihad an old singer like that when I was 10 yrs old then bought my first bernina when I was 17 Me mum had a singer treadle which still goes.
The old singers are great machines though as are the older berninas.
Oh that has bought back some memories. heheheeeeeee
