Had a lovely morning catching up with a new friend who does lovely x stitch pictures !! Its given me an incentive to get some of mine finished..

skippie i made some chocolate chippie biscuits and on the weekend i want to make pav have been wanting to do that for years but never had a mixer try by using a hand mixer but never worked

just to let you know on the 3rd photo im not crying i was laughing so hard out i had tears in my eyes the bottle of bubbles we opened was so horrible we were all making these weird faces , couldnt believe the wine was so discusting

Hi ladies hope you have all had a good day. I am hoping everyone still has some brain power as I am wanting to pick brains. I have 4 granddaughters, aged 11 to 13 staying on Saturday and overnight. Will do some craft with them but want to find something else to do that might entertain as well as challenge them. I did think that for 2 hours they will not be allowed to say yes or no in any conversation which could be rather funny as they are all chatterers and quite creative verbally. But any other ideas from anyone?

Twi i make pavs all the time and have a fail proof recipie using a hand electric mixer no prbs...i dont have a flash mixer like yours...yell out if you want to try it ☺

Barb are they into baking at all...perhaps they could make gingerbread men and decorate them after baking with icing ofcourse then they get to eat them as well lol or if your doing craft things maybe make some hair scrunchies etc...ideas are freeeeeeeeeee

Thank you skippie...just in time to stop the grumps! Good morning you wonderful bunch you. What is on the agenda for you lot today? I am going to do some stitching. I want to make some wee quilts for SCBU because its been a while since I have. Our twin GS's were there for five weeks after they were born nine weeks prem and it's a wonderful place. Boys are now 14 and you wouldn't think they had such a rocky start...so off I go.

I used hairspray on the pen waited for 5 minutes then rubbed it off then washed it...tada it came out...yippee...so here is master almost 3 pillowcase

yup yummy fabrics for sure, the catalogue is packed with every fabric they have, I have only had a few sneak peeks I want to get the flowers finished then blob and drool over it haha.
Vi, have you ever ordered any that they've emailed to say they have run out and they have been back ordered, do you know if they charge postage again ? I don't want to start anything with the fabric I have until I get the rest.

Off to work today...and looking forward to it.
Went out to an Indian restaurant for tea last night and it was yummy as. Muttley stayed at home...he is a bit of a hermit! It was sil's birthday and although we ate later than I am accustomed to eating it was worth the wait.
