Helloooooo! We are back home after a quick trip to Wellington to see the paint job on the girls ' house. It is really cool...waikanae grey with white trims and a very dark blue grey for the doors. It was a surprise trip...and they were duly surprised!
Can you hear the donkey plonks? I'd better go and feed them before they wake the dead...

Cinderella and one of the ugly sisters loved our surprise visit! The house was a bit of a tip but i think we were forgiven! I have a horrible week coming up including being a witness at a three-day court case so it was perfect timing. I feel calm and grounded, and had they not come to visit i would have been at work today and would be feeling harried and hopeless.

We were welcomed with open arms and had a great 20 hours culminating with lunch together in Martinborough. What a lovely town...with the cutest second hand shop set up in a house. Each room houses more treasures...fantastic!

we lived in martinborough for a few years had a gorgeous old 2 story with balcony 5 bedroom house it had a coalrange too. ooh we had a huge grapevine hanging all over the balcony and peachs like ive never tasted since huge they were and walnuts ahh memories aye it was on an acre right near the shops whew would be worth a small fortune now.
you should've been there yesterday for the fair or were you ?

Morning all,
firstly skippie you must run on adrenaline with the hours that you go to bed !!
Very windy here today, planning on doing some baking soon to fill the tins.. I brought biscuits last week and L wont eat them fussy little so and so :)
He is home today as he had the big D's yesterday and hardly ate so I kept him home incase it is a bug..
Might do some sewing a bit later not sure what yet !!

Cute wee elephant girzz !!
Well i made the most delicious anzac biscuits this morning and it was my very first batch as i have never made them before !! also made L's fav's which is choc chippie bickies and a lollie cake..
Have not done any sewing as yet, me and L have been shooting each other with nerf guns, the dog got shot too !!
Jugs just boiled so nice cuppa tea and a freshly baked anzac biscuit !!
