Just come back from a day with the patchwork ladies and we made a lovely bag with pockets in it. We had a tutor who was very good. Haven't quite finished mine yet. It was such a cool day.

Nice mixer twi I just bought a Kenwood mixer the other week as I was having trouble trying to mix the dough/cake mixes by hand. Been far to hot to have to oven on for baking though but looking forward to trying it out soon as no doubt you will be your too.

Now that I am home I need a nice cold zero.
I have red velcro on me watch list but won an auction for white velcro so tossing up wether I need the red as well now if it was pin I wouldnt be hestitating. Oh well good thing does are the only decisions I need to make eh...............

Have just had roast chicken and all the trimmings for dinner. P,entry left over so help yourselves girls.
Had a lovely day ....took one granddaughter to McDs for lunch and then walked around the lake and fed the ducks. She had been sick the night before and wasn't at her brightest but I think she enjoyed the one on one time with Gramma.
Then I managed to back two quilts and make a start on some free motion quilting and start a tutu for my adult ballet class. Have made two so far and have another 4 to go. They have to be finished by Wednesday week ..so no pressure!

My sewing day tomorrow thankgoodness wish to finish sewing the binding on (oneside) so I can trim them then turn the binding over, so aim is to finish stage one in the sewing. Have an order to finish some nappies for the mail tomorra, so will do them when ive finished the binding.
Be nice to get to the next stage of the sewing.
Still have had no dina but having coffees......... still not hungry.......

My sister is after the dutch dinner set like the Belgium Boerebont I know it is called Brabasbont the dutch one But dont know the correct spelling of it.
Would you know.....?????........ Many thanks. I have a few pieces here but they have no names under them. so no help to me.

Been hot as h*ll here today, I've spent the day teaching someone how to play Mah Jong. Have played for years but not a lot recently so made the old grey matter work a bit.
I am sitting in front of the computer, fan on full blast, watching some old Brit TV series and putting paper pieced tumbling blocks together.

I bought mine cake mixer from the sallies and was able to test it before buying which was good.

dilli just to add my 2 cents worth i wouldnt get this courriered some courriers a just so rough and then you have to send it all the way to aussie, my parents bought stuff from holland and a lot of that was broken

It is a furniture removal that packs and insurances but I am really undecided as she hasnt got back to may as to how many pieces are chipped. Dont wish to spend 600.00 for a box of rubbish. Ive asked them to hit a buy now on me buttons so we could talk about the dinner service but so far no luck.......Love the place mats though and they wouldnt break. hheheheeee and I would love a coffee mug of it. but I shall keep a look out for others as well. Thanks for your responses Twi and Skippie. Skippie I have saved both sites so when my sister comes here she can look at them also. Not as expensive as I though. The prices on Ebay are sky high.

Certainly would not consider getting dinnerware from NL. I also had a lot of stuff broken, I only put those sites up for price conparison.
I would love to have a jar to place on the bench and some dinner plates but have enough of all the other setting to get me by. I use a lot of Polish blue and that matches nice with my German dinner set called Blau Saks ,also know as Jäger motif, looks a lot like Danish blue.
