Fran (Robyn) was a loverly lady had a loverly time with her She has made some beaut quilts and the quilt bags she makes are awesome.
Had a lovely cup of coffee and a chat. really nice to meet the different names on here. Adnd Jumbo me is a lady (sometimes heheheheh)
The bus trip home was no picnic though very hot and stuffy. The bus was fulll to the brim ....... must have been all you lot making sure I behaved me self eh.

and cold zero is in the fridge

#2 daughter showed me pic this morning in her facebook I didn't ask her what they were but yes looks like bread rolls, maybe they would work with scones ?????

Ah now if I can just remember how to post pics on here, it is such a long time since I did it. The bags we make are breast cancer bags and are to hold the drain bottles when the ladies have had a mastectomy. We are heading towards the 1,000 and we sent them from Northland to Southland and hospitals in between. As far as know we are the only group in NZ making them. Here goes:

Seven of us make them Coalie and we have been very lucky with lots of lots of donations of fabric. The fabric must be 100% cotton so they can be easily washed in hot water as often the ladies are having chemo so their immune system is impaired. The quilt shop is Cambridge has been amazingly generous with remnants or slow moving fabric and we always email pics of the bags made with the donated fabric so she knows the fabric has been used for it's intended purpose. So anyone out there reading this please take your patronage to The Quilters Patch, am I allowed to give Bev a free ad? No two bags are the same as are made from whatever is we have at time.

Yes Dilli I do bake bread but prefer to do it by hand, unless I need one quick, then I use the machine to make dough and finish it in the oven.
