grrrrrr Fabric is ADDICTIVE..........
was trying to get things ready for Matamata today and got side tracked each time cutting fabric......with a Oh this is just the colour I was looking for/need for this lining etc. and away I'd go matching the lining for the nappies and then cutting them out.
Well at least it is not wasted time eh....
Found me tickets etc put the buttons in ze bag So all ready for tomorra now though.
LUNCH TIME whats for lunch????????????

they are from Auckland, our friends lived there and have always belonged to the group so when they shifted down here they flew up for practices, the last 3 months have been every weekend, $29 flights thankgoodness or they couldn't of done it.
we had canteen noodle it was tasty
tis hot here :( and we have lots of flys now just came in the last few days :( the mozzies were bad enough :( mumble mumble soon be complaining about the cold hehe

I had a weekend off because my mother threatened to smack my bottom if i didn't. I feel much more relaxed than i did on Friday!

Edited to add that I hate flies Coalie! We got an influx this afternoon and despite declaring chemical war on them they're sticking around. Hate the little suckers.

We are home again. My stupid belly played up after eating...it hasn't done that for a long time...and it is still rumbling. Bugger!
Some hand stitching tonight then tomorrow that shed is going to be spring, or should I say autumn, cleaned. Probably. Maybe. We'll see.

I need to get in the garage and do a summer, autumn, winter and spring clean. mum and I blended two households back in July and despite two garage sales, I still can't park the car in it. I haven't any idea what's in there ... And I keep putting it off

Evening all,
Had a busy weekend with L taking him to the beach and the river for a swim both days and then out for tea tonight, got shouted fish n chips was nice too...Has been great to get out of the house rather than sit home all weekend.
My boy is sporting a very bruised black eye, he hit it with his knee bouncing on the trampoline, it looks horrible poor wee man. I got some sewing done yesterday while there were 4 boys here all playing in my little house, was a tad noisy..
love the quilts, gorgeous colours..
Meet the new neighbours today they seem nice but the lady admitted she likes loud music, well we will see about that aye !!

yes a disappearing nine patch. I cut the squares 4 1/2 inches .... I was rummaging through my stash and found the green/blue (whatever that colour is) and thought it matched perfectly. Still have a large piece left too. No idea where it came from originally.

Jumbo I do believe there is a real little treasure trove out there. Pity I have to work eh ... Every now and then Mum will say "where is such and such" and off I head to the garage to try and find it .... I have found things out there that I never knew we had. It's like Christmas every time. Maybe I should have a garage party ....

Also seeing the travel agent today, myself and my Carterton friend are going to the USA later this year, yippee,I will do a Longarm workshop, etc etc and visit The Buggy Barn quilt show. Skippie that webcam of the square in the Netherlands is really cool and the snow is beautiful..
Im with dilli i can fit in ya suitcase as im only 5 foot 2 :)

USA Skippie whoohooo that is exciting, have you been there before ? #2 daughters bf is from there somewhere, he didn't like a summery Christmas at all, hes taking daughter there for a real Christmas sometime.
Daughter and Daisy Bee came for a little while, Chockie Boy has money for the school canteen today tis so exciting he worked out before school what to get and how much it was so him and his friend are having a juicy each :)

Oh yeah...I trust you girls implicitly! Rain dance repeated, totally nude, bits flapping in the breeze, draughts where they should never be felt and escapee farts with each landing...and still no rain despite the added extras.
Lollies? Lollies? Yes please! Just none of those chewy toffees that act like filling magnets. I have GS with me now so we might do something in my shed.

well today I made a big corrugated iron fence, waited for hubby to see it and tell me it wasn't any good but he likes it and says even tho I didn't use nails and boards and posts that its sturdy enough and wont blow away or fall over yay :) happy happy haha :)
