Morning all,
Don't you lot believe in sleep ins ??
I was woken early due to new neighbours moving in, rowdy buggers now they have thumping music playing I will let it ride because they are new but if it continues I will have to be the nice neighbour and have a quite word to them.
Might finally get around to putting the new light bulb in my overlocker today..not sure what else is on the agenda will see what the day brings..

Hi all and yep shell im not an early bird rarely rise befor 8.30 or 9 in my own time...after all those years of getting up to kids and activities this is my time to do what i want now...i need a volunteer to hang out my sheets please? mm has dissapeared and i cant reach the line yet! clothes rack is full...mite need to go in the dryer...now i keep hearing all this talk of sewing but i aint seeing any????????????????? c'mon what you all sewing then...fresh air!

oma nap sounds so good Dilli, im trying not to haha but it may happen. I didn't go out at all I just sewed the morning away. sun was shining on the machine so didn't need the light on which burns my hand when I have a big quilt in the machine. most of the squares are stippled now still have to do the curvey rows tho.
oh Shell hope your neighbours quieten down :(

Hi Coaly...well met Vi thru the arthritis thread we hang out on...have also met up with a few others from there as well on a few occasions, twice in Oamaru and once at Vi's ...good value indeed...i feel like Vi is a kindred spirit in life such a shame we never met ages ago...we have the same interest in creating esp fabric/quilting etc...vi does the most amazing embroidery so exquisite...have you seen any? dont worry i wont grizzle on this colouful thread your quite safe infact its a lovely diversion.

Comfort food here...sausages ( snags ) mash, corn, peas and gravy. Yum yum yum.
I love the colours bar. It looks fabulous to me.
I agree about the country holly...but when those donkey plonks bray there is nothing peaceful about it! Our kids used to play tennis on the road and every now and again would have to move because of traffic. Now there is a lot more traffic...but our cottage is behind the big house and the shed so we don't hear so much luckily. It has become a popular back road bypass.

I belong to a red hat chapter and 7 of us have been going to ballet now for 18 months. The exercises and techniques are fantastic for us and we love it. We even get to use the bar and do some routines. So yes, real ballet but I doubt we will ever be seen performing in public.

Oi you lot...talking behind my back. I'll tell you what ACTUALLY happened and it is a true story. DD had two French woofers staying with her. Guillaume was one of them...in hindsight obviously the most astute one. I was lying voluptuously on the lounge floor playing with the cat and he said that he thought I was the modern Brigit Bardot. Skippie was in the room and she cannot deny it. A real live handsome young Frenchman said I was the modern BB!
