Evening all - popped in to say the weekend went waaaay too fast. Did spend about 4 hours at the Hamilton Gardens Festival yesterday sitting listening to four good blues bands. Not a bad way to fritter away this day.

yes Jumbo the days are getting shorter and there are autumn leaves on some trees here, not many tho thankgoodness. oh but also I just saw under the steps a stray cherry tree branch and it has blossom on !

Yip have noticed that ze dayzzz are getting shorter. and a little cooler in the evenings.
Nice to have some cool air though.
Been to bsb (backstreet bargains) and pick up me auctions heheheeee not just fabric did buy two gardening books also. Liked one in the auction so will sell the other one on.
bought some lovebby polar fleece for the dolls blankets.

have done some washing and tiding up found my rotory cutter in the stash cupboard finished a pencil case my daughter was making and now im going to do some cutting :)

No tidying coalie. Coffee with skippie instead which was a much nicer way to spend an evening! When I came home I went to bed almost at once and have slept all night so should be happy happy at work today.

Gosh Coalie you are organised to have housework done so early.
Still sitting up in bed but need to get up as I have work and I want to walk today. Need to leave the house by 8.30 to get there by 9.
My Mum comes back this afternoon.....she had a cataract op in Palm North yesterday. Been gone since Friday.i have enjoyed the last 4 days with no responsibilities but I hate the evenings on my own. Will be lovely to have her home again.

Lovely looking quilt coallie, I am stitching a very black boys looking quilt with dark grey thread, kinda different size swirly circles. This is no 2 of the same, so will be looking forward to stitch a lighter coloured quilt.

Thanks Rdeans, the curved bits are raw edge so aha cheating really. Im going to free motion stipple it in a dark red. well that's if I ever get it pinned i got some done but then slept.

Ooooh Coalie, pretty quilt! Had a very positive text from Grizz today... was temporarily chirpy and thinks she turned a corner today so yay! Didn't last too long but at least it was a break for her. Poor poppet she's been pretty miserable, doesn't help when the rest of the bod goes out on strike too and joins the pain party. My parcel... it was March de Fleurs fat quarters and a few bits of yardage as well. Not sure how its going to work but have to make it! Its for the Craftsy 2013 BOM quilt... anybody else want to join in? Its free to join and free to do the BOM class... I did last years and had a ball, its what got me suckered in to quilting :-) As for how long it takes from Hancocks... been 3 weeks from the time they notify its shipped... keep an eye out for a bright yellow plastic envelope! You can't miss it! Such fun hehehehe. Happy quilting all!

I was all organised and just walking out the door when the alarm on my phone went off ....oops I was meant to be meeting work colleagues for breakfast at a cafe in town. So had to get car out and race across town to get there by 8.30 .....and eat a second breakfast.

il sneak in while your all busy sewing albeit one handed hehe...hiya and thanks for your kind thouts also to Vi who always looks out for me ♥♥♥ now the fog has lifted and setbacks behind me im feeling a bit brighter almost human lol trying to do little jobs...have had #2 daughter helping with luxing cleaning etc and miss 2 BIG help entertaining me love it...have some lovely flowers sent from the girls at work how nice is that...now i know we talk about holding hands for support...while i was i recovery (i think) i had staff talking to me but coudnt answer but had a very warm hand hold mine momenterily then went...i asked when i woke who was holding my hand..no-one mm said! hmm just had this sense maybe dremt it but who really knows ♥ hope to read back thru posts after off to rest bye eeee

well no chemo today my blood test wasnt to good platellets and white cells not looking to good so have a weeks rest
mum and i went and had coffee and then ended up going to millers and got a top and pants
