Skippie and lviolets I got Anna Griffin Camilla jelly roll strips x2 and quarter cuts x2, i probably should of just bought web sale fabrics but maybe next time, what tempted me ummmm the valentine 15% off lol. What did you get lviolets, I wont tell Grizz haha has Grizz's zombieness worn off or do you think maybe it could be permanent ?
ended up spending from about 11 till 7 tonight out helping with more branches but other than sweeping the bricks tomorrow it is finally finished whew, it started out as only cutting a few branches then turned into trees and it just kept going. we are so glad we didn't realise how much there was to do before we started LOL. we now have at least 4 cord of firewood just from the trees. Garden is still private tho with trees surrounding it.
Bar hope your head doesn't burst eek could be messy haha oooh it sounds an amazing place to go, the other thread about it is all positive too. oooh hope you left something for Jumbo and Skippie to buy hehe :)

I have a whole day to myself .... Actually I have a whole weekend ... My UCOL home stay left yesterday and my mum is staying in Palm North as she has a cataract op on Monday, so am rattling round with no one to talk to but the cats and dog.
Might get up soon and finish listing some fabrics and then head to the sewing room. Need to empty my head of ideas.

Laden with goodies...a new cutting board to replace the undulating one that was kissed by the sun, some face stencils for journaling, some Riley Blake fat quarters and six half yard pieces that were $10 a piece...oh...and one more bit that had 20% off. I am happy! On top of that we stayed with skippie's friend who is an avid scrap quilter and has a bigger stash than skippie!

Mwa, not so much. But I did get some patterns, a quilt kit at half price, 6 fat quarters and two rolls of Civil War fabrics( 21 strips of fabrics in each roll). Well I thought I was finished until I saw the fabrics from Malka Dubrowski at theCloth Shop, well I had to have some of that as well, so all in all good contribution to my stash.
The twelve by Twelve exhibition was just Fabulous and a feast to my eyes. The local Quilt group The Rose City Quilters has a great display of quilt works , there was a weaving display from the Professional weavers of NZ all was just lovely and great to see the talent that NZ has. Really hope that we get to see more of that calibre, just great. A fun time was had at my friends who was teaching a group of beginners today, yeh for more quilters.
