DNA........I have a cutting board rotary cutter and ruller (a beginners kit set from Spot Light) I tried using it once and its not for me. SO as good as new.
WHEN are you needing it as you can have mine.
I am planning to come to Pukekohe in the next few weeks we could meet there and Id give it to you.(the bus goes once a fortnight on a Thursday) next Thursday is the 28th Feb...... Be good to see it go to a home instead of sitting here by my computer and keeps looking at me.
To big to post well it would cost some to post.
I Love appliqueing but not quilting ..........

Morning all,
dna you are right about the message boards, i lurk around some of them and some people can be down right nasty, im suprised some people are still allowed on them..your are also right about the craft threads they are wonderful and very helpful.
Warm here today and quite windy but its keeping it coolish.
Im dog sitting today so have another wee jack here shes sitting at my feet, both doggies get on fine..
Might go do some sewing to fill in the rest of the morning.
Hope you got your feet up twi and are resting ..

dna, that pattern looks great. Not sure about for a beginner but then my first applique project was the girl with a bonnet. Can't remember what she is called now but well known. I love applique! I don't use a rotary cutter for applique work at all but I do use it to square up the finished blocks.

Sitting down eating leftovers for lunch and a latte. Plenty to share so help yourselves. Maisy, one of my cats, is trying to sit on me. She is going to the vet in 30 mins as I am concerned about her weight. She is HUGE but only has vet supplied biscuits for meals and doesn't appear to be always eating. Whereas my other cat, Molly, is the opposite. She is tiny and I worry about her too ... She just doesn't eat. I have been told by vet that she will always be small and as long as she doesn't start losing weight, I should stop "fussing"

Barb is have four cats, the old one is about 17 that is Spot, then there is a grey cat called Mouse, then I also have a skinny cat she is a kinda grey/ torty called Maisie and then there is Max he is a big black fluffy cat, Mouse and Max are hand reared, Mouse is shy and Max thinks he is human and lays in your arms like a baby including the dribbling.

Maisy is staying overnight at vets. They are testing for diabetes. Her bloods were ok but still waiting on a urine sample ... Knowing Maisy she will have her legs firmly crossed. She will have to stay in all day as I am going to the craft show in Palm North and won't be able to collect her till I get back.

Just heard the sad news that a little local six year old died of cancer this morning. Life is precious...live it to the full.

Hi everyone ive been awol all day have the best excuse tho I was playing with grandies this morning and this arvo I slept ( sleeping is a poor excuse haha )
Dna burble away all you like we talk about anything and everything in here not just quilting. everyone in here has pets cept maybe Dilli and she dog sits often, Dilli do you remember when the dog was unhappy cause she was teething and she got the panadol you accidently dropped and she was happy after that haha twas all she needed :)

oooh I just got a valentine prezzie from #3 daughter, we don't do valentines at all.
sooo where shall I hang them, any ideas ? Im so thrilled with them ive seen pics of hearts like them and wondered if I could make one. wow so spoilt.

hi everyone had a good day today i have to take a steriod the day after my chemo and it makes me full of energy so i made the most of it went grocery shopping and daughter needed school bag and shoes, made coffee and scones for my mum and sister this morning
well seen everyone is talking pets i have 1 cute as small dog called cyrus (he sleeps on my bed everynight ) and 4 cats they all very in weight and size one of my cats has cat aids but is still doing very well and hes the fatest of them all their names are angel pure white and buddy short hair ginger (they are litter brothers) sox fluffy ginger and suki black and white fluffy she adopted us about 2 years ago when a nieghbour moved out and left her behind she is so sweet and loving :)

Dna I used to make the Irish Dancing Dresses which were appliqued.
Now just applique when I can, mainly DOlls quilts, and sleepingbags. Havent got time to applique much else these days. Will let you and Holly know when the bus arrives etc.......... and where..............
Yip me has no pets as I used to travel 6 months of the year.... which has slowed down now but still would rather be petless. The dog ever now and then is enough. And yes coalie I remember the panadol thank goodness there were only 2 tablets on that strip left eh........ and ofcourse she chewed 2 big black bags full of books.
Twi pleased you are feeling better today.
The heartsm aare great coalie they should take pride on your kitchen cubboard where you had the other hearts hanging on the twigs. Would look nice there.

When the dancers danced at Waikato Worlds I made some little dresses for the other tiny grandies so they had pretty dresses too..... and we allowed them on the stage to dance with the senior dancers. they were so proud.
