Bar the church sounds lovely, the one we used to go to ( apostolic ) was quite small too, feels like family doesn't it. T's youth group was Anglican.

Well today I started to take the pieces from the design board and started to work on it. So far this is what I have done. All the blue at the bottom is just the backing I'm sewing it on to. The top, though, is to be sky so I'll sew "cloud" shapes on the lighter patches.

I'm sooo excited again

I forgot to say that I have discovered the product called "visoflex" that you iron on to the back of the fabric, cut shapes you want, peel off the paper and iron on to your project . . . it's brilliant and has helped me move forward with this. Once the whole thing is done I will cover it in a layer of tulle and quilt it - this will help soften some of the lines and hold the visoflex backed pieces.

tis great stuff the visoflex ive used it a few times, makes it so much easier. oooh your mountains are looking amazing wow. I sure do like the idea of the tulle over it ooh I will keep that idea tucked away ( lol not tucked too far tho or I will forget hahaha )

Coalie...I am going to the craft show in Palmerston North! Skippie is going to Carterton to stay with her friends this weekend...and guess what? I got an invitation to go with her and I can't wait! Her friend is lovely. Of course a quilter too...and she teaches classes as well. How lucky are we?

Shell did you put clean water in the fish bowl before you replaced the fish?? and clean all the stones and toys/plastic thingies. and the plants as what ever killed the first fish could still have been in the water.
We always put an antibotic capsule in the water (just the powder from one not the capsule itself - that sterilsed the water for the fish)

Just got home form the shops and ended up buying a towel and asked them to wet it for me as I was feeling very hot and dizzy........... yes dizzy not dilly heheeeeeeeee Then made a beeline for home.
Ok now though have had plenty of drinks. I suffer from heat stroke very easy. So me is on top of it vebby quickly. Now lots of potion in me coke zero and me will be extremely merry heheheheeeeeee hic hic hic hic

it is the humidity here thats the killer we are supposed to be 26 today but inside it is already 32 and thats with all the fans on. windows and doors open curtain pulled to keep the sun out.
Rain predicted on Wednesday so looking forward to that.

Afternoon all, very hot here now after a misserable start, i prefer the miserable.
