Coalie --------????? do you have preview box thingie if so you can watch chanel one on chanel 7 (1+1) that is the programme played an hour leter and the same for chanel 3 which is 8 (3 +1) also the programs played an hour later so if 2 programes clash you can watch one then and the other an hour later. Both Miranda and Project runway can be watched an hour leter again. So you dont have to miss out. Hope it makes sense. (I can still video till Nov as we dont change over till then.)

Skippie...you have had some successful acupuncture treatment for your sore feet haven't you? Not in isolation but with the podiatrist as well? See barbrose? I am younger and fitter than the rest of them put together. I climb a fence every day and have no bother getting my leg over. The fence that is. H hmmm.

Gosh it's now 11.17pm and I have just got back on line for the first time since posting this morning. Since then I have however added to my stash. Bought two lovely remnants for 50c each ... More than a metre in each plus picked up some nice pieces for a boys quilt and also some curtain samples which are sheer and I hope to make table throws and jug/cup covers with these. Will just hem them and weigh them down with beads and buttons

barbrose - 2013-02-08 23:21:00
40235

Thank you for the welcome .... I sew quilts and bags and whatever else takes my fancy at the time. I have been trying to make a start on a project all week but every time I step foot in the sewing room, something happens to take me away again. Today my niece and her partner and baby turned up after living overseas for five years and they are staying two nights. No sewing for me but slight consolation, I have given them my room and I am sleeping in the sewing room. Might get to sew in the middle of the night :)

barbrose - 2013-02-08 23:25:00
40236

Yes! Sleep sewing sounds like a great idea. Ooh...I wonder what the subconscious would come up with. Sleep well...I am off to bed for some much needed beauty sleep.

40237

Good morning ... I see I am first up today. Should still be sleeping but despite being in my favourite room (craft/sewing room), I am on a mattress on the floor and have now been joined by Molly my slightly brain damaged cat who is just gorgeous but a bit "special". I can hear movement in the house but since that will involve a 2 year old, am staying put with ipad and coffee for the time being . I share the house with my 92 year old mother. We moved in together in July last year after it became clear my dad would never return home. He is in rest home care. Mum and I have always got on well so it works for us. She is still sewing despite her eyesight ...she has cataracts and glaucoma. I am amazed at what she does .... She is currently making a baby quilt for my next grandchild due early March. This will be my 17th .....

Good morning all. Barbrose...the first one up has a great responsibility. Breakfast needs to be made for everyone and Dilli needs two coffees or else she gets really ugly. Yes...even more so than she already is! I'll do it today because you didn't know...
Like you I am in bed on my ipad! I loooove my ipad. I have no two year old in the house though, more's the pity. We have four kids and four grand kids and two grand cats. Lucky you to have your Mum with you.
Today I am going to continue stripping. I stripped until late last night because I am doing a Trip Around the World quilt along...if you google it you'll see what it is. I has my floor full of scraps that were big enough which I then ironed and cut into 2 1/2 inch strips ready for sewing...but didn't finish all the cutting.
Have a great day stripping or doing whatever rips your nightie.

I have made a round the world quilt. They are great and the technique is very quick and clever. I have about five quilt projects in my head at present with two started. Am making a quilt for my grandson who will be 12 in July ... Doing a block which only needs three seams and ends up with a square on point in the middle. Found it on you tube the other night and have made two cushion covers to practise so now am ready to do the bigger project.
Sorry about not making coffee for everyone ...just don't confuse me with who wants sugar and milk. I am more a "help yourself" sort of girl ... Stick everything on the table, boil the jug and stand back LOL

Bar...drommy is our daughter and as you can see she is the most disrespectful of our family. Coalie calls her Cinderella because when the kids were young...and if two of the girls were together...muttley (my other half ) would ask where Cinderella was! It has stuck and each daughter thinks that SHE is the real Cinderella. Certainly not the Prince of Wales...

Twi hope you are feeling a bit better tonight ((((( ))))Hahhaa tell your daughter I had one of those moments the other day...washed the floors,in kitchen and laundry, thenlater on that day did some washing...oops left the sponge in the laundry tub !!!
Yep Grizz I had a similar thing done about 3 yrs ago...lol too old now and can't exactly remember when...first op had all the bone scraped smooth and was supposed to take the calcifications out between my neck and shoulder but didn't !!!
Before the next op I went to hospital and they broke them up and sucked them out and then had another op to just clean my shoulder joint all up. Amazing..no more pain since !!!!

Well been to see a chiropractor today to see if he can help with my back..and he has found that my pelvis is twisted so has put my spine out of line and thats why my discs are wearing more than usual.Had to go have xrays blardy $160 !!! and then go for a treatment on Tuesday. So hopefully he can help :)

Hi Holly and boy oh boy i dont want multiple ops to sort them out nooooooo...im pretty sure spec said he was going to saw thru the calcium and suck out the bits so hopefully that will fix it but i sure will be clearing that up before hand...its being done by keyhole surgery was yours? not looking forward to aftwards how did you cope ?
