Glad things went well today twi.
We had fresh snow dumped on the hills here so thats why it was a little chilly today when i went into town,
Wee i managed to get L some of the bungy laces hopefully they will do the trick.
one day left of school hols will b a quite day home for us getting things ready.

Thankgoodness the sewing machine was Ok as it was not mine I was usuing (mine is still needing to be fixed). But all is Ok Have cleaned up all the mess and the fabric has been folded and put away So all Ok now. phewwwwwww. though.

I have sewn, backed batted and taped to the floor Munchkins sisters quilt, didn't use the dyed fabric but some teddy fabric Twi and I got in tm ages ago. Will pin it tomorrow and maybe get some stippling done.

went to local marae, grandie doing the welcome call but missed it :( got some mussel fritters tho yummmeeee :)
got some more branches to fit in compost then sewing.

See? I am fine. I took dillis advice and had another wee sleep. I woke a few times though...when dd wanted some sugar, when the door slammed, when the cat jumped on the bed and finally when our Wellington girls rang to say they were safely home. That turned into a looooong conversation
which was just what the soul needed. Sooo Jenno with the sticking out like a sore toe foot...I am grumpless! And skippie! And Dilli! See twi? I told you they are bags...

Hello all! Twi, delighted to hear that you're in fine form after your first treatment. You'll kick this into touch!

One of the ugly sisters and I had a wee adventure over the last couple of days - we headed into the ranges for a hike up a mountain but got trapped by floodwaters...we had a personal locator beacon so things weren't ever dire,but we were jolly happy to see the DoC ranger last night! He picked us up this morning in the 4WD to take us to the point that we could safely walk out. He was awesome - a song for every occasion. We love Keith!

My very lovely manager has given me a couple of extra days off so i'll sit and watch my blisters heal!
