Hubby had to take a friend to the airport early this morning, he had a flight booked last night but because he went diving yesterday he couldn't fly last night, tis to do with atmospheres you go down deep you cant go high within so many hours. anyways he usually leaves his car at airport but no parks the sevens fans have filled them.

Coalie it has a long medical name but the common name is secondary drowning can happen and they would nned to go into the pressure chambler etc to remove air bubbles from their blood. Can be very serious.

Good morning all:o) A beautiful day here as long as it doesn't get too hot.

Shell, both my boys have bungy laces in their shoes as neither of them can do shoe laces. I get them from Athletes Foot shop as the quality is a bit better than the ones I have bought on here but it might be worth a try as L can then be independent with his shoes. I actually saw a fly with a pigs body on it in the mediation room today.
But there was another fly there that was anoying so got the fly swat out and the pig fly went and hid in the light fitting. heheheeeeeeee
So jumbo must have flown doen on one of here flying pigs.
time for drinking again and partying.

Wee I used elastic as laces for the kids and that worked wanders as the shoes just became slip ons then. Did a knot for the boys and a bow lace for the girls. Even use the elastic on me shoes now as I can no longer bend down to do me laces up either and it gives me my shoe independance. I use the 9mm elastic. Worth a go a lot cheaper than bungy laces and a lot stronger too.

Yes Dilli...where are they all? It must be a very productive day out there. I have mostly blob bed apart from attaching the medals to the cards. I must say they look great.
The donkey plonks are calling for food so I suppose I should feed them before they deafen the neighbourhood.

daughter sold jam at the market again today, grandies stayed here a little while then I took them to the market, told chockie boy I would buy him something he looked around the stalls and decided on corn for everyone, it was yum mmm melted butter on it and soooo good. met up with munchkin at the market so the 3 grandies played on the slides and see saws was great fun.

Been another warm one here.
Thanks for the info on the laces wee i have seen those bungy laces and thats exactly what L needs as i can see him taking quite a while to learn to do laces and getting very frustrated in the process !!
Went to the beach this arvo and L had a ball in the waves, he had to come home and shower as the sand was in places it should not have been !!

Got home at 1030 pm, has been a long but great day. The Dude and I called in at Coallie's for a coffee was great to have a catch up chin wag.
From there collected the MIL, left Waikanae 3 pm, lunched in Foxton at 4 pm, from there to Marton so see some old friends, left there at 7 pm. Dined in Dannevegas, then home, knackered.
3 cats waiting and got told off that we were late as they wanted their dinner. Max the cat is still not home, most prob decided to have takeaways. It's nite nite from me.
Oh forgot, went and bought bits n pieces at Fibre Flair.

Good morning everyone. Another beautiful day has dawned and all is well in the bay. DD is off to a one day event today with her horse...the first one she has taken part in since she was about 16. She will do dressage, jumping and cross country...and she is excitedly nervous. She was the most gutsy rider as a teenager...and now she feels the fear! I am sure she will do well...fingers crossed. hubby is diving at the top of south island today, he left about 4.30 this morning. 2 boats 5 divers whoohoo what fun.

Daughters son and grandies are going to the teddy bears picnic today, Suzie Cato is going to be there, the youngest girls had their pic taken with her when they were little twas so exciting they loved her tv programmes.

tis a fabo day here :)
just had a tidy up of my outside area son is putting up some sails to shade the lounge it gets really hot in the afternoon and i can sit outside when i wont to now yay :)

nice day here in Chch. Got up very early this morning & didn't turn on the computer, went straight out into the garden as it was nice & cool. , planting & deheading.Got soo much done Nearly fell off my chair into a shrub, had been moving rocks from the border & back leg went down a hole. Got so involved in what I was going I got a shock when I came inside it was 10 o'clock & I'd been out there for hours. No wonder I was hungry. DH was still sound asleep.

I agree...the dude is lovely and he makes good coffee too. Wellington girls are off to the Orongorongos ( or something!) for a few days. They are wanting to climb Mt Matthews...k did it a few weeks ago and a is keen to do it too. They have hired an emergency locator beacon to take with them so I don't need to worry at all. I hope they get time to relax as well.
