2 cute little kittens wee love the new names. L goes back to school on the the 7th as well wee, im just starting to have enough of the holidays now its a long break, L has been pretty good really..i can see a few more trips to the beach with him to fill in a few more afternoons..

Late morning all, having coffee after getting the biggest fright, MIL fell over outside, lost skin of her hands, but so pleased nothing else.Fell over her own feet, poor thing. Coffee machine is still hot, any body.

My cats are really loop de loop today. Big fat lazy Tabitha is hooning flat stick all over the floor chasing dead leaves that she has brought in by the dozens. When it's not leaves its Brooke! Very funny to watch...small things eh!
I have been cleaning some windows. I can't have skippie's mil thinking I am a dirty cow! I wonder if she realises that two homes are getting thorough cleans on her account! Just as well she is here...otherwise it might have waited another few years!

Gosh, i am pleased i live far enough away that I don't need to clean my windows in honour of Skippies MIL visiting lol

It must be the day for accidents, I had booked Mr 10 in to the Dr as he has an infected toe from an injury last year that flares up occassionally.. I picked him up from holiday program and he had gashed the same toe on a shell while in the surf so by the time we got to Dr he had to be treated for 2 injuries! I hope MIL is ok Skippie and she hasn't strained or cracked anything.

daughter and grandie cut some big / huge branches this morning, daughter got knocked off ladder as a branch came down she grabbed another branch by one hand then in what looked like slow motion crashed to the ground, was funny afterwards but not right then. anyways I looked at the branches looked at the compost and thought yup need bigger compost so pulled the sides off ....tis twice the size now and can get at the compost soil that's been there about 10 years yay. oh and Blossom is feasting haha

I think I'll steer away from you guys...too many mishaps going on! I still can't believe that twi got a lady doctor. Women should be treated with the young spunkies...give the men the females! Haven't done the outsides of all the windows. And after the raft of accidents I won't be doing them today just in case the ladder collapses with me upon it. Chch don't need any more shakes!

I am guessing that your daughter bounced Coalie and is not injured. I hate ladders. We have a double storey house and I have the job of holding hte ladder when Hubby cleans out the gutters. I am not sure what he expects me to do if he does fall lol. I have never been any good at catch........

Wee, daughter didn't bounce but didn't land too hard either thankgoodness, it looked like it was in slow motion to us and she said it was slow motion to her too, the saw stabbed her through a finger nail on way down and she had time to look at it before she hit the ground !
had to come inside so many mozzies out there, was easy to slap 6 at a time ! that's crazy :( have shut windows and doors :(

MIL of OK, has a good scrape on her hand and a very black 2nd toe, have been rubbing it with Arnica and some other sprain cream from Weleda.
Just happy that nothing broke especially her artificial hip. That would have been awful. Cooler evening here tonight, yeh for a good sleep.

Coallie thank you, yes please a coffee. Went Dutch friends visiting this morning so MIL catches up and has others to talk to, was nice catching up but my mind keeps running with all the things I want to do. Going out for tea tonight as our GD no 1 starts school on Tuesday and as she is going to be a boarder at college we will not see her for 2 weeks. That will be a change for her Mum, her eldest baby away for home. GD no 2 starts Intermediate at the same school but as a day student, so the new school hear begins.

Poor skippie! I won't tell you then that the baby quilt is in the washing machine...that would just be mean. Count to ten skippie...but I know eggzackery how you are feeling...even when I have to stop for other things. And yes skippie...that feeling is grumpy. It sucks but things can only get betterer.
