wee, the couching can be done on any machine with a zigzag stitch. I'm fortunate enough to have the couching foot so that it makes it easier to do.
wee congrats on such fab quilting, great use of the walking foot!

Lovely grizz...clever old you! I have a crouching foot and I love it. It has a hole that you thread the cord into...then you sew in whatever direction you want to and the cord follows...and is couched down at the same time. I think you need one Dilli...

grandies have been picked up so have put the cutting out on hold till tomorrow. ( I cut out the nappies while they are here so I can keep an eye on them in the living area. darenot try to sew while they are here - far too full on.)

Couching foot yes i have googled aswell to see what is was and what it did, looks like it could be lots of fun to do..

We have 2 new additions to our wee family, they are 2 little goldfish that we picked up this morning. L has name them george arthur and cocoa lol...i have no idea where he dug up those names !! poor fish...

Well wee looks like we started another one of those conversations!!! lol Now to make matters worse, hehehehehe I have two different couching feet, one has a small hole & the other a large one, for the different thickness of cording or ribbon or whatever you are going to couch over.

Good morning all. Heading for a hot one here in Chch today. Boys off to holiday program then Missy and I are going to look for more Dr Who clothes for her to cos play at Armageddon. We have to find the big brown over coat the Dr wears! A 29 degree day is probably not the best day for trying on coats! I might just have to peak in at Spotlight as well:o)

Wee, The house is spick und span, other words clean from top to bottom,well nearly, didnt touch the Dude room upstairs, not my domain. Now throw some bread in the oven for lunch, not sure what time they get here though, they are still in the Waikato.
Wee have fun finding a coat, are you op shopping for that.
I found some bargain yesterday in the op shop, lovely flannel sheet as backing for a quilt, some drinking glasses and a bundle of wooden coat hangers for a quilting buddy, I thinks she covers the with pretty fabrics for gifts. Better go and deal with the bread.

ive been looking at the fabric and might make square quilt like the postage stamp one but bigger squares. have fabrics that will match in with them so will be a decent size. but have to finish the other quilt first the one I started before Christmas, oh then theres Munchkins sisters one too ....
