My neighbour gave me a jar of fresh honey yesterday so i put some in me porridge was delicious !!

Well that was lovely. The kids were so excited to get in the pen with the chickens and to touch them...and they have gone home with six eggs freshly laid. They were a bit nervous of the pigs but did scratch them with a stick, and loved the goat but the donkeys and the horses were just a tad too big for them to touch! They loved seeing them though...and of course the cats were a big hit. So I have done no sewing yet but hopefully will this afternoon. Having a good one?
Yes coalie...drommy was going into work today. The girls were going to come home for a week in February but that has been put on hold too. This too will pass.

Roast pork, roast potatoes, corn and broccoli. Only 20 degrees here today so ok weather for a roast:o).

Ditto wee! There is a new range of moda fabric out called comma...it looks delicious! Unfortunately not here in NZ...bad news...might have to order some online.
We had cold left over chicken and verges...it was nice too.

big camp at elrancho Christian park which isn't far from us, they have been cheering and now singing sounds really nice there would be quite a few hundred there. its very still out and their voices and music are quite clear.
haha so unlike the guy that was singing with a mic one of the nights Twi was here he couldn't sing at all, reakon there was a few empties around him, he was a lot closer than the camp.

Oooooooh, that "comma" fabric is very cool - very mod. Which US shop do you like to use Jumbo? I love the fabrics designed by Bonnie and Camille for Moda.

Have a look on the Red Pepper Quilts site and she has a list of stores that have per cut packs for sale. Skippie checked them out this afternoon and the pink castle ? Seemed to have the best price and the best shipping rates. Yardage is not available until the middle of next month...
Hancocks of Paducah and the fat quarter shop are two that I tend to use...and honey fork fabrics is good too. I usually only buy sale items...but in this case I could be tempted!

Sucked in wee, I also like that fabric, pink castles is the cheapest, postage is not much different from shop to shop.
As for cleaning, I have tidied,cleaned windows,toilet,bathroom, done washing which is still on the line.
Tomorrow upstairs bathroom, landing, stairs,lounge and kitchen, in between that Jumbo and I are going out for lunch and Stitch and bitch in the evening.
Things we do.
I think I have an early start to get it all done.
Honest went to have a look again at that lovely Comma fabric and somehow it ended up in my trolly and it's being posted to me, isn't that nice, just like that.

I looked but I didn't buy, I loved the text / calligraphy fabrics on one of the sites ( don't know which one it was now lol ) but they were sold out. nevermind got enough fabric for now oh yeah and some in the post from Thumpacat.

Just finished the binding on the mug tugs. The colours are looking a bit washed out with the flash .........

Thank you skippie...it was lovely! I did a check before I ordered mine...to see if it would be cheaper postage with two layer cakes...but it wasn't. It was all doubled. Too bad eh?
Coalie...you would also love the architectural range. They are gorgeous too...but not on sale yet. I did get some calligraphy styled from...I can't remember where now...and it has a picture of a hand holding a pen as well. It was on sale too so I was quite chuffed. Even with postage the fabrics are less than half the price here. I do still support our local stores though because I am afraid they will close down if we all buy offshore.
I love the cool mornings...and so do the animals. They are all lying together outside! I might go and join them...

Thanks for brekkie, skippie. Great mats wee. Love the colours. Must be the weather or somethin' to make mug rugs. Finished off a couple more yesterday to make a set of four. Using up some scraps to make way for some more.
