Its true aye 'you can never have too much fabric'

#Post

I go away for a few minutes, come back and what a lot of lies have been told! You are supposed to say things like that in front of people so that they can defend themselves.
Btw...when are we going to meet again? Are you up to travelling coalie? That weekend was so much fun...it would be great to meet the rest...as long as you aren't clinically certifiable like some of them here. Did you read that Dilli? Diiiiiiiillllliiiiiiii!

That's not fair by the way...running I mean. Holly and coalie have an unfair advantage. They don't have the ballast that some of us do...and there is nothing that will blacken their eyes when they run. And it wasn't me wot ate the snupper either...I was careful to brush the crumbs away...

I would love another get together and I can try travelling maybe I can do it, Dilli could share her potions if I can remember where I hid them lol but Dilli makes yum harsh browns

Silly coalie...you should have looked there first! I have pin basted a baby quilt on the floor with the 'help' of two cats. One was energetic and the other one just wanted to sleep, thank you very much! I did it though...l
Did it. Now to quilt it. I bought an online course by Leah Day on free motion quilting and it is fabulous. About eight lessons of at least 45 minutes each for twenty U S dollars the lot...and no time limit. Have them forever to watch as often as you like. Yeehah!

Shell, standard cot size mattress is 28x52 inches, so if you would like to tuck it in size wild be 45x60 inches.

Gidday dna, my kids can do most crafts and oldest grandie can do a few.
Other grandies too little yet but they are showing an interest. Chockie Boy ( hes 5 ) went with daughter to Fibre Flair craft shop not long ago and he was amazed at all the fabrics etc he told me I should go there aww haha he didn't know that I do. As for cooking hubby taught them a few things, they are all really good cooks now and enjoy it.
ive nearly finished glueing the buttons on the lamp.

All me kids were taught to sew, cook, knit, crochet, paint draw. etc etc etc.
My favourite saying was if you can buy it "you can make it" It had to be made to get sold in the first place, We used to have a lot of fun in the school holidays. Now most of the grandies can sew, cook. none are interested it knitting or crochet though. but there is still plenty of time. All love art and crafts. so thats great. Love teaching them...

Have been up to the Bay of Islands for a few days with UK friend, wonderul place, wonderful weather. Drove home today Pahia to Matamata but, thankfully, very easy run.
Off to do more touristy stuff but having a couple of lazy days at home first.
Nite all.

I think nowadys kids are more interested in gadgets than doing real things. Some of it can be the costs involved as well.
I did sewing and cooking at school too and my mum taught me to knit but i hated it..
L would love a kitten skippie but its just another mouth to feed that i cant really afford at the moment...L is actually getting his goldfish that he wanted for xmas atleast they dont cost a fortune to feed lol...
Been quite warm here today but got some sewing done and a few other things..

DNA, my daughters are great cooks and both embroider, one does quilting, the other is good with her drawings, both of them do not like knitting.
