i have a appointment at waikato hospital on the 24th jan for a biopsy and the 30st of jan to see the oncologist for the results and treatment plan
this friday i have to go rotorua hospital to have a tummy tap again,has got rather big again but needs doing befor the biopsy anyways

Back out of hibernation......... got new laptop before Christmas & have been trying to understand it. It has windows 8 & it is a right royal pain to use. Managed to understand a couple of things on it to date.
Been doing a bit of beading on a wall hanging, will post a photo later.

Awesome cushions twi! I can't believe that you only just leart to crochet...obviously you're able to pick things up much quickerer than me. Hope all goes well for you at your appointments. Pity they couldn't attach some plumbing so that you could turn a tap when you felt the need!

Just taking a break from these bolster cushions now that i have worked out the perfect end size (is there a easy way?) ...putting filler in the lining to sew up then will make the cover with zip so it can be washed.

Twilite im in on the dishwasher man do we take turns? or just imagine as we are stacking plates hehe..i do love the colours in your cushion covers very soft and gorgoues...will be thinking of you on those dates and hope you will be more comfy soon with the tum.

It rained quite heavily in the night...hooray...I might have some water in my tank. The sun is already quite hot though but as long as the wind stays away the ground might soak up some of the moisture.
I need to get some serious work done today. I have been fiddle faddling around with purses and pencil cases for a while. Just fascinated with all those zzzzzips! Have a grrrreat day!

Here is the lap top cover for Missy. She is very happy with it.
I only had a fat quarter of the bird fabric so i had to do the flap with the print in one direction and rest of the top with the print in another direction. The bottom and the lining of the cover are yellow.

Have all but finished one top and have remade another one! I got lazy and only roughly measured lengths of fabric and it ended up skew whiff! Is nice and square now I have done what I should have in the first place! Why don't I learn?

Nope computer working but then so was I ....I ironed a big pile of fabric ready for cutting. took 5 hours of ironing but was determined to get it finished.
