Yay! We'll be as old as skippie soon!
I got the top done and also made a couple of little purses. I'm trying to perfect what I want and I am nearly there...just not quite.
The reason I made chutney is because we don't eat a lot of jam...but it would probably be better for us than the chutney we have with cheese!!
Ham and verges for tea tonight...was yum too! What are you all up to?

well im home what a long trip
had a great time at coalies,wasnt allowed to do much and slept till 9 most mornings, we have worked out a pattern for the journey quilt,
well im very tired so i think i better hit the hay

I enjoyed the bread! (And the ham and the brie and the baby spinach...) I'm about to head to bed - have to mow the lawns before going out tomorrow. At what time does it become acceptable to mow lawns in suburbia? I really need to start by 10.30 at the latest if I'm going to be on time to lunch before a movie-film - will that earn me the 'Worst Neighbour of 2013' award?

I was supposed to empty out the downstairs bedroom, can tel you I didn't do anything tonight it is still in the same messy state. In the meantime I have two single beds standing in the lounge that have to go in that bedroom when it's tidy. Tomorrow we are going to Carterton to see my friend, so no tidying will be done then either, might have to wait till we get back.

Nice cuppa ta coalie. Beautiful morning here too as well also and! I want to have a go at making a modern quilt...could be interesting watching me try. For someone who loves fabric and quilting so much I have a head that doesn't like numbers or shapes!! Oh well...goodbye comfort zone of patterns...

I dont have a watch either coalie. Usually buy a cheap one when in Melbourne but only to make sure I catch the trains on time. Should really have one on my shopping ttrolley here for the same reason. As I just wait for the next bus.

Morning all,
Yes i did get plenty of sleep and L is fine this morning.
Hes up and has had breakfast.
Skippie - i still got some quiet time as when i got L home i put him straight to bed.
Really lovely morning here no clouds just sunshine and not a breath of wind, but its going to a warm one so curtains will get closed later..
Will do some sewing before the heat !

ps - the watch subject i never one either as i always have my mobile phone with me.

I broke a lamp a while ago, I watched it fall and crash, I thought oooh I know what im going to do with that hehe anyways have finally glued it back together as best I can and am glueing buttons on it. me and glue tis very messy.

We had 37deg in our backyard today.- Clyde. It is still very warm so I guess it will be very little sleep tonight, Have all the windows open and the ceiling fans going but not much help. It is meant to be another hot one tomorrow. Will have another glass of lovely cold water .

Skippie is coming back from Carterton tomorrow coalie. Planning, plotting and scheming with her friend methinks! Her friend is a great quilter and teacher of quilting so they will be in their element.
I have played with some modern quilting tonight...and so far I am happy with what I am doing. I might even show a picture when the top is done. Very minimalist and quite unlike anything I have done before.
It was so funny the other day. Muttley has been on holiday and when he got the mail in the other day there was a package from the fat quarter shop for me. He thought I was going to use it right away. Doesn't he know the meaning of stash? Just as well he goes back to work next week because there are two more parcels on the way. And zips!
