Grizz an Oliebol is a Dutch kinda like donut with raisins and sultanas then gets deep fried in oil eating with icing sugar, only to be eaten round New Year.

Happy New Year all. we celebrated with friends in the city centre last night. Great night - bed by 4.00am!!!!!! Not bad for a 60 year old light drinker!

My only halfhearted resolutions are to finish some UFOs (I like the idea of NOT starting anything till the UFOs are done) and to cut out a lot of my excess eating.

Right all you clever clogs I want to print something on a piece of fabric through the printer, can do it but what do I use to make it so that it doesn't wash out ???????

Sorry holly im no help, i dont even have a printer..maybe someone else will..

shell156 - 2013-01-01 18:02:00

Holly iron it to set it, put paper or fabric under and over tho so you don't ruin your iron or ironing board. that's what set the fabric pens I used so should be the same.
ok teas ready roast pork veges etc I know Dilli will come she enjoys pork, all welcome :)

coalrange1 - 2013-01-01 18:06:00
38921

Holly you need fabric that is prepared to accept the print. You can buy the sheets ready to go, not cheap, like from memory about 25 dollars for 6 sheets, or buy the solution to make your own sheets but is really not cheaper considering your time and the solution is not cheap either. Also cannot use an inkjet printer. Needs to be one with print cartridge, once printed let your sheet dry and then heat set with a dry hot iron.

Hello you good people. Thankfully the air has cooled down here just now, but it is still really hot all the same...just w ith a teasing breeze wafting by every wee while. Haven't done any craft work today. Not much housework either! The wellingtonians are back at home and according to them it is like autumn down there. It was great having them home even though it was for a short time. The boys loved catching up with their aunties and vice versa. Too bad it was over so fast. Maybe I will settle to some sewing tomorrow.
Enjoy the rest of your night.

Had unpacked a parcel of fabric today and could not believe a lot of it was 100% cotton as I bought it real cheap. Must check the other lots Id bought from them. ALways thought it had a %age of polyester in them. Some did but most were coton. All childrens prints for the nappies.
so really need to start to cut some out as my supply is nearly dryedededed up
