Hi...would love to come for lunch dilligaf was just looking in the pantry hoping something delicious would jump out at me all made...well had the man come and install all my new curtains yesterday for my house...they are better than i imagined up, so really wrapped and what a xmas present! almost there another 2 sleeps to go, all the grand kids will be so excited waiting in anticipation to see what santa left them lol...lovely day at mine and not too hot so im happy.

we have a overcast very warm day here, daughter has just done the vacumming for me isnt she great :)
just catching up on some washing, otherwise having a quiet day, im feeling very good today,sleeping well, christmas is keeping my mind of other things which is good :)

Grizz i would love new curtains, but would have to speak to my landlord (my dad) !! Ive been asking for new ones since i moved in 4 years ago !!

Shell and Twilite i have waited seven years for these drapes, we built a new house 7 yrs ago and could not afford to put curtains in lol so had some warehouse ones up to make do unfortuanately they were all too short can you imagine how silly i felt...so at last i have proper ones and loving it.

Grizz - we have been in our house for 30 years and still have the same ugly, bald carpet. In fact it has had a channel cut out all the way around the skirting boards when we painted and papered . . . but still no carpet. Finances have always been tight and carpet is such a biggie. In the end I don't notice it but anyone that comes here that does not know us must think it's weird.

Need new net curtains here..... Touch the ones in me lounge and bedrooms and they rip.......... Have replaced the one by the sliding door so far and one bedroom.
Still to flamin hot to eat...............
give it another 1.2 hr and see.
Coalie me is videoing the final of survivor as me had a meditation to supervise tonite the last for the year. so now have 2 weeks free........

Yep turn the heat down i say.
L just rung santa to tell him what he wants, was so funny !!
Have to make my salads and trifle today.
First thing is to visit my mum and take up some flowers, and i got some nice tinsel too, she will laugh at that..

mum and i went to pac and save this morning at 8 and the carpark was allready full we only needed a few last minute things

my niece came up from wellington yesterday and was the last flight our before the airport was closed,

Thank goodness for that Twi. My friend's daughter has to wait to Xmas morning now. We have to be thankful though, who'd want the planes to take off in dangerous conditions and have something terrible happen.

Merry Christmas everyone on here. Enjoy what we have with whoever we are with. My partner and I are on our own this year - first time ever, I think. Could be a challenge . . . . what with too much food and wine LOL.

46 degress in my roof and 28 in my house !! tooooooo hot ....
Well we are all ready to go, every thing is made and packed..
Just have to put it all in the car then go as the chocolates i have in there will melt in this heat...i dont have far to go which is good..

Hello all from a blistering hot but getting cloudy Wellington. We are sitting in the garden enjoying a cool breeze. Went in to the city this morning and had a walk around the waterfront. Some boys were jumping off some purpose built stairs into the harbour...I envied them...and was tempted...but didn't! All ready for Santa? I have been ever so good this year so have high expectations. Here's hoping...

Holly how you work in temps higher than this is beyond me it must be like working inside a sauna whew !

Thank you skippie...and I know how good I have been so there...she says poking her tongue out so fast that Santa would never have time to see it!
