hi everyone :)
the tornado was in Hamarana just round the lake a bit so we are all safe just lots of thunder and lightening and very heavy rain
had son and grandies for tea
still waiting to hear from auckland, did get a letter from them they wanted proof that i was a nz resident, so i faxed it all off, what a waste of time it took the letter 5 days to get here, so now im still waiting , didnt have a good day yesterday pain wise but feeling a lot better today,
went grocery shopping this morning yep the highlight of my week LOL heheheheh

Ma, if you're missing work you're very welcome to my job! It's a bit soul destroying and very boring, but it will at least take a up a lot of time.

And i agree, life can change quickly. My thoughts are with the families of the Auckland folk, it's the last thing they would have expected to hear. Can't imagine their grief tonight.

Evening all, another work week bites the dust. Warm and windy here at the moment. Easy tea here tonight, not much else going. Have more quilt stitching to do this week end as they all would like the quilts before X mas, so that will keep me out of mischief. Have also committed myself to donating a quilt to Cure kids silent auction next march, so will have to put my thinking cap on as to what quilt I would like to make.

Had a lovely time with my sister and her friend and me brother from Auckland of course.
But getting there and back home grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr bus drivers grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
why oh why do they have bus timetables if they dont stick to them eh....
nearly missed me bus to Auckland this morning the town bus was 15 minutes late and if the Auckland driver hadnt gone looking to see if I was in the centre I would have missed it. MInd you I saw the bus was still there when we drove in so asked the bus to park behind it so it couldnt go out heheeeeeeee.
And coming home the bus was 35 minutes late so I missed my conecting bus............ oh the fun of travelling eh.
Should have taken me broom coalie would have been faster heheheeeee
Tired now but in need of several coffees.

Oh dear wet washing, I will dry tomorrow. Yep coallie hav several ideas running in my head, just need more time, after Xmas I go back to two days a week, I will get hopefully more time to do some of my stitching, but by then my MIL is coming for 4 wks and I will have to give the house a spring clean as she is a clean freak, mind you she will have to cope with my four cats.

skippie they have to be dispensed from a hospital and one is allowed only so many....... Id have to go through heaps to report them missing to start with let alone get them replaced. but if need be I will have to do so.
It may be a problem for her getting them of the boat again through customs which would be a police phone call and Ill go into the station so they can view my prersciption for them.

Man it was a good one all right...I thought muttley was being stupid and he thought I was encouraging the cats onto the bed. Both wrong this time. I bet we all woke up together today!!
We went out to a fruit growers dinner last night. Neither of us are very good at going out at night to Christmas functions but it was quite good fun. We didn't go on the bus because we thought it would be too late for us...and we had to be there by five thirty to catch it. So we took ourselves and left home at about six thirty...after I had had a nana nap in preparation. Talk about showing my age! Breakfast is waiting for the masses...I might still be in bed but make yourselves at home.
