aww what a lovely quilt Grizz it is sooo cute, i have a doll quilt my gran made for my mum in about 1938 its a crazy patch one. it has been loved and is showing its age.

Ta coaly...i dont tend to do traditional quilting i usually just make it up as i go along lol find fabric, ribbon or anything that takes my fancy and piece it together...wow you are so lucky to have that handed down quilt i bet its a work of art...always choc bisc left...join me whenever ya feel the need...my wee miss 2 will be here soon with mother in tow lol cant wait hehe

Daughter no 2 is in Wgtn at the moment and she won two tickets to the little grandstand outside the Embassy theatre, behind the stage, so she will see everyone go into the Embassy. She has the biggest smile ever.

wow what a neat prize and lovely weather for it, have been watching on tv.
kids and grandies all just been great fun eating ice creams and chockie boy used my camera to take lots of pics, digital cameras are so good aye no expensive film to think about.
Twi text shes having dinner at her mums she will let us know whats going on as soon as she is home.
suddenly just got cold here has clouded over.

thanks gals...but i would really like to see all the exquisite work any one has done cos i know you have and hiding it from me...i need some inspiration please??? dil has asked me to make some strap protector pads for bubs car seat so better go dig in my fabric etc and find me something ofcourse i dont have as much as those who bragged they could open a spotlite shop now do i !!! il do my best tho...

Grizz,, the first pic I would describe as a texture fabric, I like that one, great for art quilts. 2nd pic shabby shic (sp?)roses fabric. As for some fabric, you are welcome to search thru my stash, would be lovely the meet and see you.

Hey Skippie - it's Judy with the pics of fabrics - and thanks, I like your suggestions. I do have a problem naming the colour of the flower background - it's sort of beige, taupe, dark fawn (can't describe it)!!!!

Judy Looks Kinda Taupe colour if its a tru colour on the photo.
Edited to say, list it as Shabby shic Roses background colour taupe or at whatever colour you decide that it is.

well the news wasnt what i wanted to hear the cancer has spread to my peritoneal thts why i have fluid in my cavity, the next step is i will get a phone call from the gynie in the morning to see if they can do a biopsy they said it could be differcult because of all the organs and other things in the way, if they say no she will tell me the next step,thats all i no for now, the gynie was very impressed at the speed my doc is doing this and ringing them every day, the gynie in rotorua hospital is working with the gynie oncologist in auckland so thats good to hear
my tummy measures 112 cms !!!!!!!!! LOL hows that for size

Rain rain and more rain here dagnabit! came home from town as i got sick of it but i have made a small dent in my xmas shopping...also picked a wallpaper for my spare bedroom feature wall...am having curtains made at the moment for my house tis so exciting but stressfull at the same time hoping i made the right choices eeek! got my lof fire cranking its really cold here, i guess its back to winter again tonight.

Skippie and Jumbobon i would darely love to meet you's and look thru your stashes but i fear i would have a ways to travel first so well put that on the back burner for now hey...Skippie do you have a shop? as you said your customers work!

Sorry to hear your not well Jennonimo...illness are hard to bear sometimes i hear ya so hang i there and just do the best you can hugs.

Twilite you are in my thouts, i am so glad the doctors and specialists are looking after you so well...i imagine it is a lot to take in right now so baby steps hugs.

Here I am...home again home again blobbity blob! A fantastic day at school today where I felt as though everything that could go right did go right...for a change.
All been busy today? Did you get a reasonable rest twi? I have been thinking of you and Jenno...I know it won't cure ills but I sure hope it helps your souls knowing how much people genuinely care.

well my lovely ladies got a call from my gynie, she was really upset that the radiologist/consultant was in a grumpy mood and said to her i will look at that file later, hopefully will hear something tomorrow
she said the biopsy is very specalised becaue they have to follow it by either a ultrasound scan or ct scan beacuse there are so many organs and things in the way and they only do that procedure one day a week :(
she couldnt tell me how long iv had it or the percentage rate of recovery because she doesnt have any histology yet, that will come with the biopsy thats if they do it they may say to operate first then chemo
had the grandies after school and they stayed for tea
