Mooooorning! Up you get...I'm sure you all heard muttley get up this morning. He is off to Wellington to a conference for three days. Is he excited? Hell no!! He is a homeboy from way back and is moaning loud and long. The flight leaves at 6 55 so he was up at bird fart...hence the noise.
Me? I am tucked up in bed listening to the racket around me! Poor muttley.

Yes Coalrange we have a fab fabric shop at mine, it has lotsa quilting and some fashion fabric but not much choice in kids fabric which i like to create a bit of and is expensive...but has awesome bits and bods for embelishing etc so spotlite is always on my mind ahh a girl can dream. I cant believe i have never cottoned (no pun intended) on to this thread before!!! having a passion for colour and fabric all my life and here you all are thinkin the same way! so mite hang out in here if you'l have me Lol.

Grizz im making the kids (6 of them) in my sons unit (its a special needs school) a little christmas decoration each for christmas. I have made my boy an advent calender, stockings and other bits and pieces. Am making him a duvet for his bed for christmas will put up pic when done. hes already getting very excited !!

Evening all, had a busy day at work. Jennonimo great to hear that you have found the shop so welcoming, enjoy as it offer great kinship. Yes jumbo and I enjoyed our light meal, just nice not having to cook.
Grizz, I am 58 yrs young, have 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters, a husband that travels a lot so spend a fair bit of my time alone or pester Jumbo and Mutley. Work 2 days a week as a Phlebotomist and the rest of the time I Topstitch quilts for others on my long arm, in between that I quilt and craft for myself.

Morning all and thanks for breakfast. I am laaaazy as this morning. I have a cat on my knee so can't move. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. So google o'clock has been the time for me.
Lucky muttley took the Wellington girls out for a meal last night. Wish I could have seen them too...but they would have had a big meal and I enjoyed a salad.
Sewing today? Maybe. Housework? Definitely some of that...and laundry too. Will even spend some time in the garden I think. Well I try not to think too much....but you know what I mean. Have a great day.

well lovely ladies i have had some really bad news today i have ovarian cancer,(right hand side) have been seeing the doc for the last few weeks and today had a specail blood test and the results were positive for cancer, im going for a ct scan in the next week in rotorua then going to the gynie oncolagy dept in auckland for surgery and chemo the good thing i can have chemo in rotorua,,the ct scan will see if its spread to other parts,i went for a ultra sound scan yesterday and thats when the mass was found, have had to put work on hold as its very uncomfertable to stand all day with a very bloated tummy,i was going to resign but they dont want that so are keeping my job open,the doc told me i will have a busy month ahead of me, the mass has caused fluid to sep into my stomach cavity, doc told me this is all manageable and with surgery and chemo i will be fine
my wonder family have been with me all this time
and have been in touch with coalie all this time and shes been there holding my hand :)
