ive been browsing the threads and didnt know that you can change the size of things lol, now the messages here are readable almost without glasses, up the top under the forward back arrows are the words file edit view click on view, go down to zoom and a box comes up beside it and click on whatever you want ......ok you all may have known this but nope not me hehehe :)

Yeh, what are they doing to us.
Trying to find a pattern for a quilt, but is a busy fabric so need something quiet so it doesn't overtake the quilt.

A really quick way (which I discovered by accident) is to hold the control button down and use the roll wheel, if you have one, on your mouse. One way makes it bigger, the other way makes it smaller.

Edited to say although I have a laptop I simply can't do without my mouse . . . . I get really frustrated just using the pad thingy!!!

Oops! Sorry...forgot to say hello today! I have been to work today and picked up my stitching this morning instead of playing with my ipad! Then when I came home I was so tired I had a wee nana nap...now is that showing my age or what?
Will do some more stitching tonight. One of the things that I got from Rosalie Dace's course was that you can do lots of stitching before doing the quilting so here I go! What have the rest of you been up to? Clean any windows holly?

well friends i know i am getting better after going to DR's today. me standing at resepstion saw 2 wires hanging down wall. one started moving up so i graded it and pulled in down again, wire moved up me pulled down this happened 3 times every one in waiting room laughting. wire stopped moving me took off before angrey eletricton arrived to find out why his wire was stuck i was acting my shoes size not my age.should say DR's rooms under repair

Hello hello hello! I have been lazy this morning...haven't even eaten breakfast yet! Been googling instead...what a time waster it is. Muttley is taking me out to lunch today...again! Wonder what he is after? We used to meet for lunch every Tuesday when I was working at the op shop but haven't been so much since then. Methinks the house could do with a spruce up before I attack my sewing today. Have fun my sister...and welcome to the obsession we all share! You are going to love it!!

If only that would work...wouldn't deliveries be wonderful? Only trouble is that we would lose the anticipation factor...I love going to the mailbox when I am expecting a package and thinking maybe tomorrow if it isn't there. Grizzvk, you can always buy Spotlight online, worth investigating, but be warned, it's addictive, but not always the best quality. So sometimes better to buy from overseas sales. If needed we can give you some hints where you can spend your money.

ok fessing up, i put borders on quilt top for L's quilt for christmas, actually im making it into a duvet cover, just have to buy a black sheet for the back as it will be cheaper than buying fabric for it..have to work out what to put on the bottom to close it up, buttons or velcro....also started making some little decorations for the kids in L's school unit for christmas, there is only 6 kids so wont take me long to do. Have got 2 tree skirts to sell, have made 4 now !!
