Morning all, didn't pop in yesterday for goodies as spent the day at the machine. Decided to quilt in the ditch and also did a bit of reverse stitching which often happens when I quilt in the ditch, can't keep it in the ditch - anyone else have this problem.
Bacon and eggs on, anyone for toast, homemade plum jam too, lucky me has a neighbour with the biggest plum tree you ever saw. The birds love it too which is OK as no-one can reach the top anyway. Off to quilt group this moning, first one for the year so have a good day everyone.

Stitch in the ditch i have only played doing it, havent done enough to know wether i can stay in the ditch, maybe its something to do with the direction the fabric is ironed at the back, saw that on a google video, they had the joins all ironed the same way ????

Hi Twilight, i saw it on a google video, spose it makes sense.

What am i up to, hmmm well i didnt have enough fabric to bind quilt so i just turned edges under and sewed it with a very fancy close but wide stitch, it went funny and quilt went out of alignment (i know doesnt make sense) but i noticed it wasnt going right and i didnt stop sewing duh me, finally after sewing over 1/2 of it i stopped and looked at it and am now 'unstitching'!!!! duh i should of stopped sewing i knew it wasnt right, unstitching it is a nightmare cause stitch is so fancy theres heaps to undo. gee thats longwinded sorry.
So today i will go and get some matching fabric so i can bind it properly - like i should of done in the first place ;)

What you up to today Twilight ?

Ah Twilight hmmm your getting to know me too well me thinks hehe, no i checked the stash and there wasnt anything so i went to fabric shop and got 2 fat 1/4's so will be able to finish it.

wasnt good restraint Twilight i looked and looked at the fabrics but didnt see anything i liked hmmm maybe i just need to use up what i have first.
I realised you said flicked hehe lol but not much fun with you just flicking it. Had a case of abuse here the other night, girls were doing their nails, rat cuddling up to one of them, next thing the rats on its back with legs up in the air !!! seems smell was a bit strong for the poor wee thing oooops we put him in his bed and he slept the comatose state off and is fine now. maybe a few brain cells less but hmmmm oooops we never even thought of the fumes.

going to finish unstitching and get this binding on now :)

hi cindydog my bird hates me, he use to sit on me, eat out of my mouth, play with the dog, but now hes just a little shit,i was putting his food in there and bang he got me, hes been like this for months now, once they get hold of you they wont let go, this is the 3rd time hes got me and i had a towell aroud my hand, but he got right in there ,naughty bird, i said a few choice words to him.hes a really good talker, spent a lot of time teaching him to talk and whistle
