L had his school special olympics today with quite a few schools from around the region attending.
He came second in the 100 metre race, he won the softball throw and won the standing long jump. I was a very proud mummy, he did really well !!

i wrecked the castle yesterday, sewed 1/2 the tree and puckered the quilt looks a mess sooooo its been hidden away till i can be bothered fixing it.
will start a new quilt today, was going to start a t shirt one for #2 daughter but realised she has the t shirts that she has saved for it at her place. have another quilt in mind so will do that.

It has been lovely to see youngest gs laughing so hard because yesterday he had a contraption put in his mouth to stretch his palate. His mouth is crowded with big handsome shiny teeth with nowhere to fit! The expander has to be tightened every night for six weeks...and his palate will stretch 6 cm in that time. He was most uncomfortable yesterday but is fine and dandy now.
