thanks Dilli, cuppa was good, grandies made their mum a bunch of flowers, cardboard cut to flower shape then they coloured them and coloured thin kindling for the stem and taped them together and wala a lovely bunch of flowers tied with ribbon. tis raining here now.
better go find something else to do .........

Its miserable here i should be sewing but im crocheting..
Was going to do some baking but might leave it until tomorrow. Has anyone here made banana bread ?? is is similar to banana cake ?? I have some bananas to use up, i cant eat them straight..
Jugs on for cuappas.

grandies went home a while ago and i had a nap. daughter said it was typical windy wellington they had trouble standing lol but it didnt rain.
Shell, Dilli makes banana bread, she will know, sounds tasty mmm especially when its still warm yum.
very wet and yuk here but fire going, going to sew now
so glad Hamilton has good weather for the show i wonder what Skippie and Jumbo are doing ?

they do make a racket.
Banana Bread is very silimar to cake just the mix is thicker. (I am no good with banana cakes) So have never tried banana bread. sorry.

That was a lovely day out, interesting about the block houses i didnt watch it but #1 daughter did and kept me up to date and there was alot on talkback.

Hi all, no jumbo is still with us. Show was great, lots of things to see and buy of course. Bought books,patterns and only a little fabric, gorgeous shot cottons. Also met I- luv-2quilt today, lovely girl, had two chats with her as she was busy.
Holly shows that we undersell of craft work.
Quilt exhibition was out of this world, some great stuff there, doesn't mean I would like make it myself, but great just the same.

Hello ladies...I am safe and well but broke. Anyone have contacts in the Reserve Bank? I need more cash! Have loved my day at the show...bought lots of books, some magazines, a weeny iron that can fit beside my sewing table and a couple of patterns. Tomorrow we are going to look at quilt shops so might 'need' some fabrics! Grand company with the girls...loads of laughs...fun all round. Will be home tomorrow night so will keep you informed on any more purchases.

oooh the show sounds soooo good, Jumbo no need to bother the reserve bank just print your own oh hey you can make a stamp and stamp your own aha that would be even better.

Evening all, home safe and sound, had lots of fun, spend lots of money and saw some beautiful quilts, fabrics and other crafty stuff. Really wish you all could have been there. Came across a nasty accident on the Taupo/Napier Road, haven't heard the outcome but it didn't look good.
Now have to think what to have for tea.

Moooorning to you all. Breakfast is on the table and kettle is always hot so self help is the order of the day. Sorry not to have signed in last night. We had calls from the family and visits from dd...she had to check out all the news and photos.
Skippie is so right. It would have been so much fun for us all to have been there together. Mind you, it may have taken Hamilton a long time to recover if we were!!! What a wonderful lot of goods came home with us! I bought mostly books...there were unbelievable bargains to be found...and also some fabric! Mmmmmm! Can't wait to get my teeth into it all...but have to clean up the shed from working on the signatures first. Only two days of work this week so far so should get it done.
