Thanks for kind thoughts Skippie, Chockie boy was excited and scared but will be ok. #1 daughters birthday today, Chockie was born 2 hours before her birthday at the time i was so relieved cause if he had held off another 2 hours her birthday would never of been her own again.

Haagen, if you are a beginner quilter maybe you could do an easier block/quilt. Go and have a look at Red Pepper Quilt blog and look at her quilt, very effective but simple blocks, might give you some ideas.

Good Morning beautiful people! Thanks Skippie for the heads up on block quilting. I made a couple of them, a couple of years back, so I'm going to jump in the deep end and try something trickier...eeeeek. Trying to do everything by the book and even have fabric in the washing machine. (Thats a first). Next step is to find the iron, can't remember if I still own one, lol.
