I havent been in for a bit as my son has kinda taken over my puta !!
I ditched the crochet hook for my sewing machine the other day and got some more blocks done on L's quilt, i enjoyed it for a change.
Just had my uncle up from chch and he brought me a big black bag full of wool/yarn so i have enuff to keep me going for a while now, will take a bit to get this lot all crocheted up into granny rugs.
Overcast here today, the rain can stay away as i have to go grocery shopping for school lunches for next week..
Better find some lunch

me lurking but no choc fish thanks they are filled with pink marshmellow and me dont like pink,red,purple food. (tastes like medicine when I was a kid) heheheeeeeee
Been waiting for some elastic to arrive (sample) to see if I can use it for the nappies as I am running very low and it didnt arrive again today, forngers crossed for tomorra.
Wish Id hasd a oma nap but then I would not sleep tonite so me is vebby tired and eyes are vebby sleepy.
Sausages and chips here for dinner. Sorrry fish didnt look nice at the supermarket so didnt buy any.

Well I have had a low key day...did some mending and altering for sil this morning then gave the house a spruce up. Played with cats in the sun as well. Muttley is away all day tomorrow so will have a shed day! Anyone been productive??

I have not been productive today, unless you name blood taking productive, then yes i have been. Plenty of patients with fine veins that are soooo difficult to bleed.
We are away for the week end so you have to find your breakfast and tea in another house.

OK..........WHO has been baking apple pies and put one in my bed.
Someone applepied my bed during the nite with ME in IT........and I was sleeping so nicely too. then at 2.00am the bedclothes started getting all tangled and tangled and tangled till now I gave up and had to completely remake the bed. Jugs just boiled for a well deserved coffee now.

Coffee then sewing for me. To lazy to change the cotton till the elastic arrives so I can try it out. Then have to fill the bobbins with reds for the appliqueing.

Ham and cheese rolls.
Looks like it going to rain here so dove down to the shopping centre quickly to buy milk, bread etc before it rained and got home dry as well So that was good timing.

Very wet here jumbo i put off getting my groceries yesterday so i stayed in my pj's all day and did some sewing, cutting and crochet and watched santa movies with L..and tis still raining and i have run out of a few things so will have to go out in rain, got to get lunch stuff.

Thank you to my TradeMe friends. And belated happy birthday to you Dilli and coalie. I have had a lovely couple of days. Serious party last night didn't get to bed til 4.00am - not bad for a newly 60 year old! I have my family home from Oz and Auckland and yesterday they surprised me with a new laptop to replace my very old tired PC. I had become so frustrated with the old one and now I don't need to shut myself away in the sewing room/office when I want to use the computer. Learning to use it as we speak.

Last night's party was spent with 50 friends and family and I felt very special and cared for.
Today we had afternoon tea with family only - again a lovely day.

Happy Birthday to the Birthday girls, reading this you all had a great time. Now coallie I will not forget yours again as the 14th July is our Wedding anniversary, must say many moons ago.
Had a lovely time at our daughters only rained all day today with a very cool 11 dg, as we were travelling home it dropped to 8 dg, rained till we got to Te Pohue, stopped and the temp went up to16 dg as we got home.
Yeh have also a parcel from my sister with lovely Handcraft mags and fabrics etc etc. Work tomorrow. Have a fun evening.
